The Lady of Duskendale was able to hold the army together and distract the enemy long enough for your desperate allies to reach you?
The greatest of the poets couldn't sing a better tale of how the Mother and the Warrior came together to defends the righteous, for the faith is strong when they are one.

You should grant fairmarket to Ormyn if you manage to get him back cause he was orginally from the riverlands and cause the tullys are taking the cape of eagles. But if the Brackens do something to him you should start a feud with them cause Damon still loves Ormyn like a son and he is compassionte so he would see any cruel act against his family as a result of a just war as the brackens overstepping and interfiering in affairs between you and your vassals.

I would say send Lord Luceon to the Wall, but I suppose there isn’t a Night’s Watch anymore so that’s not exactly possible. Execution would definitely be just, but so would holding him captive/in house arrest, which might be the more compassionate option, and has the benefit of avoiding angering his family and allies. It could maybe be seen as a sort of exchange for the safe return of your family. Not an easy situation for King Damon.
Granting Fairmarket to Ser Ormyn could be a kind of poetic justice, keeping watch over the family that took him prisoner, and ensuring a loyal transition of Luceon’s remaining lordship once he dies. (It would also be cool to see him found a cadet branch, which I think can only happen if he’s landed before he has children. Waiting to get the Cape of Eagles might be too late, but I’m not so sure on that)

Giving Ormyn fairmarket seems too perfect to not do and loving this series

This quickly escalled in one of the largest wars of recent memory in Westeros, its the forces of what, 3 or 4 kings fighting openly

Being both just _and_ compassionate, I think King Damon would insist on punishment, but settle for banishment instead of execution-especially since he already stripped Lord Luceon of lands. Has there not been enough senseless bloodshed? House Roote will henceforth serve under a loyal vassal of Damon's choosing, there will be no feud between Luceon's progeny and House Arryn for the killing of their sire, and Southstone will not be provoked into harming their hostages. Taking Lord Luceon's heir as a ward might further aid in securing their fidelity.
I also support giving Fairmarket to Ormyn, assuming he can be freed from Bracken captivity.

Ormyn is considered a bastard and therefore not considered important in the release of prisoners. This is pretty consistent with how bastardry is viewed in Westeros. But yeah, a more detailed prisoner exchange system, and peace treaty system in general, is badly needed for CK3. Oh well, maybe in the next 29:99 DLC. For now I'd say its perfectly acceptable for you to "cheat" Ormyn and your brother out of prison because it is always acceptable to ignore dumb game mechanics.

When you were looking for a commander with speed, you skipped 4 characters with the organizer trait, wich gives army movement speed. The higher one was Halbert Seagem, and there was also Theomar of the sisters. Still it didnt matter, but just wanted to let you know you do have commanders with speed traits in case you need it. Ormyn's accolade could be called "The Band of the River Hawk", in reference to the riverlands where he was born, and in reference to both the arryn coat of arms and the anime Berserk, since he is our little guts. Although if he becomes a lord im not sure he can be an aclaimed Knight. And Lord Lucien shuld not be executed, you should ransom him for money and use it to in turn ransom your brother and ormyn rivers, and he could become the new lord of fairmarket.

House Arryn will be known for their piety, valour in battle and grand mustaches for generations.
It's not a terrible legacy to have.

Lord Luceon shouldn't be executed, you should just banish him. And once you get your bastard son back, give him the duchy title.

That battle was impressive! I think its really only outshone by that incredible play you made in the son of ares series with Empress Ariadne!
I dont think Damon would necessarily kill him, hes compassionate as well as just, but banishment/exile is a sure thing i think. Maybe his children can be raised to be more honorable than he was.
I think after thisbDamon would be supremely interested in making nice with Southstone, another commenter suggested a marriage and that might be a good idea, it would just depend who it would be between, the king of Southstone only has 2 daughters i think!
Is Masart alright? I could have sworn Jeyne was betrothed to him, but maybe it was your younger daughter? Totally possible im misremembering!
Definitely looking forward to next time, and seeing if you can vassalize Gulltown!

I do want to say for the acclaimed knight title and how there was the Berserk reference in the game the universe is screaming for the name to be Captain of the Falcon Raiders. It just fits everything perfectly since you are the Arryn family.

I think you really should try to prop up house ryker to be a major player in the crownlands because they have already proven to be a very reliable allie and maybe one day a vassle who are also kings of the bay?
This comment aged like milk 💀💀

I imagine the mustaches might be something of a fashion trend of the younger men in the courtly culture of the Eyrie or the Vale. And our King Damon just doesn't get it, he is fourthy by now after all haha.

I think that Lord Luceon should be sent into exile for his crimes and have his sons become your wards. This would allow Damon to negotiate further with Southstone, as Luceon can be sent there as a permanent “honored guest”. It would also allow Damon to mold the sons of Luceon into allies to the Vale. Perhaps giving back the high lordship of Fairmarket to his would also show King Damon’s just nature in showing that he will not lay the sins of the father upon the son. However, the castle of Adderstone should be given over to Ser Parmen. In my opinion, King Damon would see Ser Parmen as a brave warrior who in his time of need answered the call and lead the troops of the vale to victory. He is also just like Damon, so I could see them agreeing with one another on matters of politics in the realm which would further cement the reason to give him the castle as a landed knight. Also, it might be smart to marry off one of your family members to one of the Bracken’s as a way to return your brother and son back to the vale and to further stop any conflict between the two kingdoms for the time being.
