It’s a shame they Discontinued yoga book with the halo keyboard , i wanted the android but I’m afraid to get one I heard there not going to update the os , a few more years in the future not all apps in the play store will work , it’ll just be a cool looking paper weight

@@nadiriii7968 the new one you can see directly on the e-ink display what you write/draw. To some artist it's better hand eye coordination when drawing. And of course it's more expensive so that can be a factor in consideration

Jakov Vrbanec I think that windows software has generally better graphics sensitivity and is equipped with better editing and sharing software. Try looking for some windows x Android comparison videos for the Yoga Book
I have a Lenovo yoga book 2 in 1 Android tablet PC. It has a micro HDMI port and I already have a micro HDMI to HDMI connector. Can I connect a HDMI windows stick PC to my yoga book and get taste of both windows and Android?
love the tablet have had it 3 years but now the keyboard is warped first on the left side so i used jb welding compound and it worked for a while now both sides are warped and the lid won't close can any one help me ?
if they are google play apps, yes. the android software and chrome works on the yoga book just as it would on an android phone or tablet. I'm not sure about laptop apps unless you get the Windows version of the tablet. then it would work just like a laptop with those types of things.i have a Chromebook, and I can't really get laptop apps because it runs off of chrome. you cant get laptop apps on an android phone, so i wouldn't think you would be able to do so on the android version of this unless there is a setting to download the app in a working way for android software.

If you have the extra money go for newer Yoga Book C930. I have both.
You can actually scroll without long press on the mouse pad. Just swipe up and down using two fingers. Works for me every time :)

Is it worth it to update this tablet to Nougat 7.1 ? Forums say there are some issues with updates.
Not had any issues at all. problem is that 7.1.1 will be the last update, no more updates in the future
I think 7.1.1 is enough, since we cant upgrade the hardware. Android Oreo or Pie will need higher speed of RAM and processor imho.

Idk if u found one or not but u can go online and buy other pen tip like stylus just Google it to find the best one for you
