This reconstruction was really well choreographed, better than that 6 days movie.
because it was done by the real SAS group - You can See McAleese at 31:57 as well as Rusty and others. In fact im willing to bet all the reenactors are the original group because of this
@@romainvicta3076 but then they covered there faces when interviewing them. Reverse psychology.

When terrorism was dealt with properly......
The only way to deal with the 🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀
Delberto What about the million civilians who died in sanctioned bombed Iraqi cities by US & US terror bombers ? According to HARVARD PUBLIC HEALTH and UK Medical Journal 500 000 children under five died .. Colin Powell later his imp[impassioned speech to the UN Security Council on behalf of the BUSH OIL DYNASTY invade /attack the Iraq people was just lies lies lies .He was angry .because HE GOT A BLACK MARK ON HIS RECORD !! No war crime trials for US hawks .
@@moonbeam1982 This was a UK response to a UK problem, remember; big boys games, big boys rules. Terrorists know the risks & deserve no mercy or sympathy.
Deberto Were the massacres of New Yorkers ..Brits--Australians -Spanish etc etc citizens of aggressive US NATO countries , a no mercy .no sympathy answer to invasion and destruction caused to Muslim nations by Western war criminals ie Bush Blair etc
@@moonbeam1982 aggressive US Nato countries? you mean those that stand up to terrorism like the UK? You mention 'war criminals'; surely regimes that finance, promote & encourage UK terrorist attacks are the same then. Islamic (or any other) extremists are not bound by conventional rules so firepower, speed & agression are the only ways to respond to the threat posed. Terrorists have no regard for the sanctity of life & deserve no mercy.

@@chestnutsev7 No one knows but don't you consider you might be biased given his profession? People's sexual orientation is complex and their "interests" know no boundaries of class colour or profession.
@@adrianh332 You are wrong, Pedo's typically select the career they follow because it gives them unsupervised access to other peoples children, that is why so many of them choose careers as school teachers, Priests, scout leaders, social workers, nursery school staff etc, elite soldiers however are not likely to have access to young children, as most people they meet are other soldiers or terrorists, very few of them are unsupervised young children, so the accusations are bullshiite, but I'm guessing that you are just a hate filled leftist who is happy to insult dead British heroes because of your twisted ideology.
The one surviving terrorist was released from Prison and is now an approved refugee living in LONDON on full benefits and Council housed. This was revealed on Piers Morgans Good Morning Britain, when Piers interviewed Mr Curry who is one of the SAS team in this video, he was at the time HOMELESS and living on charity given to him by his old regiment, Piers kicked up a huge stink about this and Hereford Council bosses had to give in under huge public pressure. But thats not the end of it Hereford Council attempted to get Piers Morgan sacked from his job for calling them out! its all here on youtube Good Morning Britain! That in truth is how the British military are treated by authorities after they have left our services. its only those good volunteer groups who do their very best to help our old soldiers sailors and airmen. I reply to this in their honour. ( Veteran myself)
Disgusting. Typical of this soft attitude nowadays. We won't forget what all our good men have done in all wars we've The Brits have been involved in.

It was used on the ITV after hours show night watch with Steve Scott
I like how John Mac’s face was blacked out in the interview bit, but he’s actually one of the “actors” in the reconstruction 😂
@Rob P McAleese
I thought that too not sure if rusty is one of the 'actors' too
It’s quite funny when you watch the videos back. There’s a 4 part SAS selection video on RUclips that features Peter ‘Yorky’ Crossland (from the Victor Two mission). He is the main “actor”, and yet in other videos his face is blacked out. I get why, though. In the earlier videos it can’t be that long after they left the regiment, whereas in the later ones they’ve been out for a while and have probably spoken about their experiences, so more people know them.

But you can clearly see in the reenactment they are the real SAS guys - Mcaleese and rusty fermin you can clearly spot at multiple points . They must have let the original group reenact it - Knowing the viewer wouldnt put the two together as them being the actual SAS that did the Op
Sounds like the voice of ‘chalky white’ narrating…
The guy talking at the start goes by the pseudonym of "Pete Winner". This gentleman also took part in the battle of Mirbat. Where 9 SAS went up against a 200 plus force of guerrillas. The only mistake the guerrillas made was they did not bring enough men!

Makes you proud to be British
Mark Millar The hostage takers were demonstrating against the harsh treatment of Arab minorities .. Their decent treatment of the hostages and their statements that they had no argument with the UK government ,, Were ignored ! SAS who abseiled from roof top ended up hanging upside down in full view of the "terrorist " who chose to throw their arms down and not engage the SAS .. Despite that SAS searched the embassy and "nutted " non resisting "terrorist " Horrified hostage's seeing what was happening smuggled the surviving man out of the Embassy and resisted attempts by the death squad to drag him to a "nut job " within the Embassy .. So how legends are invented !
Moon beam- The SAS had the instructions to rescue ALL hostages not just the British. The terrorists had said that they would kill ALl the hostages after the deadline. The British authorities tried to negotiate a peaceful solution but the terrorists started killing the hostages. You obviously have no experience of warfare. If you do not have a kill or be killed attitude YOU will die !!
AR The man the hostage takers killed was an Iranian rep,of the Ayatollah regime who hanged gays etc . They made it plain they had no grudge with British ,who were hostile themselves against Iran after the notorious US UK backed Shah regime with its murderous CIA trained SAVAK death squads were overthrown who liked to torture opponents of the Shah SAS men were not facing a life or death situation in the Iranian Embassy .. Hostages had witnessed the men throw down their guns ,offer no resistance ,once the SAS made entry .They could have easily killed sas man who ended tangled up in his abseiling gear outside the embassy window .. ISIS terrorist would have not hesitated to kill the helpless soldier .. US / UK bombers had bombed residential Iraq cities after 12 yrs of cruel sanctions against its people .According to HARVARD PUBLIC HEATH GROUP who visited bombed cities ,Kids were playing in streets awash with raw sewerage . Bombers had destroyed sewer works -water -gas -electricity--food depots-civic buildings ,police /fire stations -homes .communications.,roads etc An estimated million civilians died inc 500,000 children under five ,of malnutrition & disease THE LANCER . previously Iraqis had enjoyed decent health services etc. COLIN POWELL whose impassioned speech to the UN Security Council urging war ,later admitted he had lied lied on behalf of the BUSH OIL DYNASTY . and was very angry that he now had a BLACK MARK ON HIS RECORD but NOT A WORD OF REGRET IN REGARDS TO THE MANY INNOCENT CIVILIANS WHO PERISHED .. Or the aftermath on western civilians ..In NEW YORK Saudi s seeking revenge ,used the same tactics as US attackers ie Destroy ECONOMIC -MILITARY --POLITICAL targets Two out of three aint bad ..
Agreed.
moon beam What a load of bolloxs you've wrote bro, for a start the hostage takers were demanding the release of prisoners in Iran.
Then your trying to say that the terrorists dropped their weapons and instantly surrendered but were "butted" regardless.
I could go on but I've wasted too much time on you as it is, asshole.
Do some fucking research in future mate.
And rest in peace mac!!! True warrior!!!! Bless!!!
I particularly like the SAS training that involves officers standing between the targets the soldiers are shooting at while it is pitch dark and their vision is restricted by wearing respirators, great practice.
Live fireing exercise
Great practice indeed, but highly dangerous. One SAS sergeant was killed doing this.
Respect!! Brilliant!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
On a school trip to London, some of us made our way to Princes Gate and took photos hanging on to the padlocked front door. I remember looking into the charred hallway and wishing we could go in. I wish I still had that photo. I still treasure the photos I took in Gibraltar around the Shell station after Operation Flavius.
I only want to comment to take this opportunity to give credit and utmost respect to British SAS brother-en! The world should know, and I believe must know, just how critical SAS roles were, and the dedication and sacrifice for mission success side by side with the American nation is unequivocal, that I am personally aware of anyway. Many ppl, globally, do not realize how much Prime Minister Tony Blair stood up to those who opposed being an ally with America for the war, and that commitment was just as reinforced throughout ALL British military ranks! My hat comes off to our British Ally, as well a solid heartfelt salute. Will fight side by side anytime, anywhere. HOOAH! Respectfully, American Veteran.
.. and you must read a book called "The committee of 300". Hooah for every humanbeing who dare to read it.
Blaire deserves no credit, His lies sent our brave soldiers into an illegal war.
Thatcher is the PM that truly supported these brave warriors
Why are you an anonymous coward?
Blair is a traitor left wing vote buyer of the bums and immigrants.

I missed all what was happening during all this until the last day of the assault, I sat and watched on tv, I missed the days prior as to what it was all about, as my mum died on the 30th of April, the day the terrorists took over the embassy. I will never forget that date for those two events

I understand that US forces (talking about SEAL #6 or DEVGRU, I think that they have changed name again, whatever) are a lot of levels better than 90's have close, similar level to the SAS but ... I think the SAS are more "pure", how else can I say it ...
The SAS guys with the help of let's say, the classified military technology of the USA (and not all of of them, just some of the stuff the Americans have and could be used and we don't have a clue about it, we'll know about it if -of course not- will be used.. we're talking about some things that we can't even realize) would be the 101% PERFECT soldier.
I mean soldier as human, cause I understand most of all that the technology matters most in these days and in a little time SFs will not be capable to deal with (if they're not already dealing with it) the technology. Specially to deal with classified above top secret technology that US and Russian have (but others too...) is impossible for a human, even a trained to perfection soldier.
LOT of respect for the UK's SAS, the guys are simply amazing, real heroes
