      Yes! A collaboration/interview/chat. I often have other teachers (e.g., Ken Bozeman, Ian Howell) on my channel to talk about voice. I'll e-mail you soon.

      I am glad you finally found her Karen, I discovered her just over a year ago she was the first person to explain all about Vowel modifications to me. Then I asked you for more clarifications. So please work together on that and other topics!

    Dr ... do you think Paul McCartney or Jimmy Hendrix knew all that when they recorded Hey Jude, Oh Darling, Hey Joe or Foxy Lady

    Thanks. I'm trying to change from breath in: belly out - breath out: belly in to appoggio. It's a challenge but it does seem easier on my throat. Early days though.

    Should we tense our abdominal muscle as we go higher?

    So teachers tell students not to breathe into there chest. Is it okay to widen your chest at the sternum on an inhale to open it if you are breathing into your back and opening your ribs while maintaining appoggio?

    • @user-of4kk4in9f
      @user-of4kk4in9f 4 года назад +1

      you're talking about thoracic breathing. Trry Lehmanni's famous breath jerk where you jerk the abdomen in for a breath while keeping the chest high and still. Your capacity will be small when you start out so this helps get more air in without upsetting the high still chest as Dr Sooah said keep it high.
