@Walker Isaias I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Yes! A collaboration/interview/chat. I often have other teachers (e.g., Ken Bozeman, Ian Howell) on my channel to talk about voice. I'll e-mail you soon.
I am glad you finally found her Karen, I discovered her just over a year ago she was the first person to explain all about Vowel modifications to me. Then I asked you for more clarifications. So please work together on that and other topics!
Thanks. I'm trying to change from breath in: belly out - breath out: belly in to appoggio. It's a challenge but it does seem easier on my throat. Early days though.
So teachers tell students not to breathe into there chest. Is it okay to widen your chest at the sternum on an inhale to open it if you are breathing into your back and opening your ribs while maintaining appoggio?
you're talking about thoracic breathing. Trry Lehmanni's famous breath jerk where you jerk the abdomen in for a breath while keeping the chest high and still. Your capacity will be small when you start out so this helps get more air in without upsetting the high still chest as Dr Sooah said keep it high.
very well explained ..you are one of the best teachers here on RUclips ..that was really helpful ..thanks
