Mate you will not be disappointed! Put around 2000-3000 rounds through mine out of the box, no cleaning, just some oil, had zero malfunctions. Main upgrade Ive done on mine is replacing the plastic charging handle for an ambi metal one, complete game changer, especially for practical or GRSB Happy shooting!
Cheers Henry! I know how reliable the Tippmanns are, Ive been using a friends Classic (now mine) for almost 4 years with just a couple of jams during the first few uses, and have been shooting the clubs Elite S too, it has a good balance weight to it, stay tuned ;-)
Greetings Sir, I'm from the U.S. and I have a couple of questions you probably get all the time but, I'm going to ask anyway. Most of us USA people (myself included) didn't think Brits were allowed to own guns like this. Especially considering the gun you are showing is considered a short barreled rifle (SBR) here in the U.S. Even we have to get a federal permit to own one. Obviously, I was wrong and Brits can own this type of gun. So, I am curious what hoops you guys have to go through in order to purchase one? Are you allowed to keep it in your home (locked up of course)? Do you need special permits to take it to the range? Overall, I am curious what the difference is between here and there as far as owning, storing, moving, and shooting this gun. Thanks and, happy shooting! Respectfully, Rick B.
Hello Rick and thanks for your question. Firstly the .22 is the only semi-auto calibre we are allowed, bigger bores need to be straight-pull / single shot. In the UK we are allowed all calibres of rifle providing we can show good reason for owning such a weapon, I am allowed this specific rifle because I have demonstrated a need for it in Practical Shooting. I am a member of a Home Office approved shooting club who have cleared me for safe handling of this type of gun. My Firearms Enquiries Officer (FEO) has checked this with my club, I have also undergone deep criminality and mental heath checks to ensure I am as safe a gun owner as possible, my gun safe has also undergone tests by my FEO for security. In the UK we need to renew out certificates (SGC / FAC) every 5 years with a fresh indepth doctors mental healthcheck. To sum up, Brits must prove they are of sound mind with no criminal record and good reason to hold each gun we want to apply for before the FEO will even interview us, when this is when we discuss our need for each gun, we are also limited to amounts of ammo we can hold. It comes with the plastic case as shown.
not milspec, only trigger, grip, stock, and military standard 1913 picatinny rail.
