​@@californiasmybodyHi, not sure if you're still looking for an answer to this question but I'll just let you know that I made this hood with French terry and made a second one out of a nylon type material. The first one came out perfectly and the second was just ok. It serves its purpose but I doesn't lay as flat on top of my head so it looks a bit weird. If you can, try to find a pattern for a 3 piece hood. Those lay flatter and are perfect for materials that aren't soft and drapey. Hope this helps 😊
