Fun fact: The bread is toasted more on one side as the centre element is more powerful, as it has to share it's heat with bread on both sides. Since there's no piece of bread in the second slot absorbing the extra heat, it gets a little hotter, toasting this side of the bread more.
all the user reviews I see about this toaster complain that it breaks after a few months. Heating elements quit working and only toast from one side or the other.
I honestly don’t have a complaint. It works for me as expected. I intentionally purchased from Bed Bath and Beyond because of their return policy which basically gives me a lifetime warranty. Thanks for the comment.
