I bought a Limited edition Seiko chronograph Presage SRQ023J, throught a boutique dealer. When I received the watch, there was some damage, not as a result of postage, but, from new. I further found the watch was 6yrs old. When I confronted the dealership they abused me, and refused a refund. I contacted the manufacturer, they said it was normal to sell new old stock, but also refused to assist, stating the guarantee was the dealership's responsibility. Never again 😒

It's honestly frustrating that all of the aftermarket bracelets with solid endlinks for the SKX have male endlinks. The whole beauty of that watch is the short lug to lug. If you have a below average wrist these are actually less comfortable than the original bracelet.

Given the price of watches, the purchaser should always have a choice of taper / straight, type of clasp and all should come with glidelock for comfort. Yes, it would add slightly to the price of the watch but it is a very important element of a good watch.
