Cool to hear that you did this after being stagnant a long period of time. Most people would of thrown in the towel! Makes your achievement that much more amazing knowing you were hitting a walll and stuck it out.

Brian, I am 63 years old and am a past power lifter when I was in my 20,s- for the past 5 years I have suffered with low back pain. MRI shows a small herniation and a disk bulge in L4 L5 area. I have read back mechanic and an in week 6 of rehab. The one thing that no one ever speaks about is how long before the pain goes away? Not really impressed with the go to " it depends" Most people have some sort of disorder with disc in the same region.

Pick up a copy of gift of injury. It will help
Also, it does depend. No 2 injuries are the same and there are too many variables to compare similar injuries not limited to biological age, injury severity , symptoms, genetics, lifting age and goals.

@@7THxSIGN sounds like you need to pick up the book unlearn your pain? All injuries heal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If the pain remains it means you have something else going on and they call it the mind body syndrome? Lots of good info out there and there is hope for you to get better. Think outside the box and be your own healer..................

Awesome man! I’m trying to squat 1k as a 40-45 multiply. Going raw and smashing quads has been my plan. Thanks for sharing

Let me know if I can help with a consult or coaching. I have a 148 female lifter (equipped) looking at 700 right now for the WR.

@@BrianCarroll1306 I’m definitely looking at getting a live session next year for some injury prevention help. I’m going to be working with Mr Garry Franks soon.
