- The finale of The Glory is here and it is INTENSE! Dong Eun sets the final plans in motion to get revenge on those who wronged her and Sohee, putting Yeonjin and her mother behind bars, and getting Jaejun and the cop taken care of. All that's left is Yeojeong getting his revenge, which Dongeun is ready to be his right hand woman to take him down. Let me know what you thought about this episode in the comments!
Also I don’t think there is going to be a second season, only because a lot of times Korean dramas do stick with one season 16 episodes, but if they do go ahead and do another season, I wouldn’t mind one that either just focuses on Yeo-jeong’s revenge or a completely new cast with a revenge about something completely different. It is ended perfectly tho so I don’t think another season is needed.
Why would this even get a second season, makes no sense
I strongly recommend My Mister. It won numerous awards and still remains the most recommended kdrama of the decade.

I’m pretty sure they are going to make a second because I think I remember her going for the guy from sweet home’s ( I forgot his name ) father’s murderer so. It would make sense if they made a season or not though.

Told you this will be a rollercoaster ride. It's gonna be a while for me to watch a K drama I guess, this one is hard to top. From the cinematography, scoring, the dialogue was well-written and of course the acting. I know people do like Yeon Jin's acting and yes she was really good at it coz she was effective, but the one that stayed with me was Dong Eun's portrayal. The reason why her character made a huge impact on the series is because how sh brought the character to life. The way she delivers her dialogue was amazing coz I think if it was a different actor it would have been a different result. Her character has so much complexity that was much harder to portray as an actor but she did it and played a huge role to make this drama successful. Agree with the director and writer that only Song Hye kyo can play this character, and sometimes feel like it was written especially for her because she was Moon Dong Eun! Bravot to her and the rest! Had a blast enjoying my first K drama!

Personally I wasn’t satisfied with the revenge especially for Yeon-Jin, that devil’s spawn tortured people by burning them and other type of physical abuse and all she gets is jail time and losing her husband and kids??? Nah I wanted her to end up burns and scars that her victims had to go through. The show was great though, just needed more to happen to Yeon-Jin.😭 on another note though the actress who plays Yeon-Jin seems like the sweetest fkn person in real life though, even the one who played teenage Yeon-Jin, amazing actresses for sure. It was great watching you reactions :) hope to see more Korean Drama reactions.

@@slee2695 I mean in my opinion if you call her a good person I would say that is “subjective” because Imcould say a good person wouldn’t stalk, exploit, blackmail and try and ruin the lives of others no matter what, which she did (rightfully so). I am not saying I think she is a “bad person” but I just think it’s not as simple as good and bad. Why does she need to be the bigger person you know? Also She gave off the impression in the first episode that she was going to stoop as low or lower than then them. she did say in the first episode “this isn’t going to be some half ass revenge.” Just my opinion tho, I wasn’t watching the show hoping she will still do things like a “good person”. Yeon-Jin deserved much worse.
Yeon-jin also lost her Mom as she ignores her in jail. Also, Yeonjin is also getting bullied in jail by her cellmates.

Don't worry, she gonna spend more times in jail than Dong Eun in her gym, and all those torture not knowing why she should be resentful for being put in a jail will stay with her even if she ever get out of the jail. And all her bullies in her cell would be her hell on top of losing her daughter, her fame, her luxury life and her glory dignity
btw the death sentence kinda abolished since December 1997. I don't know the details but like people still get "Death sentence" but its never carried so its more of a life sentence which is why the serial killer dude is still alive and this is a further reason for revenge since he won't be dying anytime soon

There was an awards show here in Korea (last week I think? pretty recent) and this show won Best Drama, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actress (for Lim Ji-yeon for her portrayal of Yeon-jin). Hyeon-nam's actress, Yeom-Hye-ran was also nominated for Best Supporting Actress! Other nominations were Best Supporting Actor (Park Sung-hoon as Jae-jun), Best New Actor (Kim Gun-woo as Myeong-oh), Best New Actress (Kim Hieora as Sa-ra), and Best Screenplay. Excellent show deserving all those awards and nominations! Though honestly, I would've been more satisfied to watch that serial killer get tormented more :b

hi ricky! this is a reach but if you are interested in watching another suspense/thriller/mystery k-drama, i really recommend sky castle! it talks and raises awareness about the korean education system and the whole drama was such a rollercoaster, kept me on the edge of my seat at the end of every single episode! it was so so popular when it was airing domestically and internationally! even now, it's still considered one of the best k-dramas! i really recommend and would love for you to react to that

I don’t think Yeon-jin being in prison is enough of a punishment. And I think Hye-jeong’s punishment was too harsh (yeah, she can get her voice back, but she’ll probably suffer some kind of PTSD). I would rather have Yeon-jin permanently lose her voice, and THEN she would be locked up. I also wish Hye-jeong had a redemption arc.
