That and there was a connection between Dongeun and his father. For some reason, she's interested in the body that his father broke protocol to freeze. That mystery surely caused him to pay attention to her. I'm sure that he was happy to see that his father turned out to be right about freezing it so good could win over evil.
i really appreciate that this show killed its sexual predators!! that’s the most fitting punishment for people like that, there’s no pain in the world that could serve as just punishment for that kind of assault. yeonjin’s punishment should be to live in hell but those men don’t deserve another breath 🫶
truu i was actually happy that both of them died they dont deserve to live but also i wanted yeonjins death i a little more painful but this is also good i must say
17:29 no, it's not. If you look closely you'll see that when she grabbed the bottle, her sleeves covered her hand. Hence only Yoo Jin's fingerprints were on the bottle. It was a nice little detail they added.
What a journey from dong eun pitting all the bullies against each other like a mastermind exposing them all having yeon jin lose everything cause she cares about her reputation is better than dying loved these reactions
Something struck me about her punishment for Jae-jun: from the beginning, his eyes were his downfall. Not from his disability, but from the fact that his eyes violated/leered at those around him and that led to worse things. It's fitting.
Two actresses from this were in "Extraordinary Attorney Woo". The girl playing the daughter was the younger version of Woo, and the woman playing Sa-Ra was the North Korean defector who Woo defended in court.
There were alot of extras from extraordinary woo young woo in the glory too. The shaman, the pedo coteacher of dong eun and jaejoon’s atty was in woo young woo .
It's pretty safe to assume that Do-Young and Dong-Eun set up Jae-Jun's end. Dong-Eun got JJ to meet at one of DY's construction site, where DY had a cement mixer waiting. Again, no coincidence.
The translation is a bit off when they were saying "resentful". It would be interchangeable to "unfair". That's why YeonJin was saying why should she think it was unfair. And DongEun was implying it was unfair that she was in jail when she didn't commit the final blow. But of course nobody knows that but DongEun and the Gyeongran. So she was teasing YeonJin.
English subs dont really have a way to properly translate Hyung, Noona, Ahjumma ect with the right cultural background to the words. so when you read "grandma" or "big brother" it doesn't always mean that the characters are related. It's just a language of respect toward people older than you. Basically we got to know in previous flashbacks that the landlady lost her son which is why people at the bath house took pity to her, then this flashback is about how the landlady tried to kill herself in the lake the same time Dong Eun wanted to (you might remember her standing by the lake in episode one where we were just shown her crying). They saved one another in a sense.
This ☝also, in that same vein, if someone mixes up honorifics ("hyung," (older brother) "noona," (older sister), etc.) purposely it's meant to be an insult.
This happens in so many kdramas being reacted to by westerners I wanna reach into my computer screen and yell "it's not literal!" Many look so confused but it's not that deep. I mean let's picture a plausible American movie scene. A group of rowdy teens are being loud in a restaurant. An old man sitting near them tells them to be more respectful. @@atkim122I don’t get why they are so confused, especially when a guy calls and older guy „hyung“ aka „big brother“ a lot of westerners calling friends „bro“ or „brother“ too. In the military it’s called „brothers in arms“
in reality, there was no proof that Dongeun committed or was connected to any of those crimes. she was too smart. this is why even though the cop knew she was responsible for a lot of what happened, there was nothing he could do about it anyway because he had no proof. plus, he realized she went through a lot and figured she deserved some peace. ❤
more importantly, the cop was just speculating coz yes, he has no solid proof and Dong Eun never admitted anything coz she said "if" or let's say" she was just too smart for the five of them. But she knew the hardest one to take was Jae Jung and if YeonJin's husband decided to be on her side it would have been a problem. But since she is smart she used the daughter for them fight each other. Brilliant.
I'm glad in the end they didn't make it like being the bigger person or feeling sorry for taking revenge plot...cause some people do not deserve this, the whole revenge was very satisfying
One unique point about being hospitalized in Korea is that the patient needs someone called a guardian (보호자). A guardian in English is an adult who is responsible for a minor. However, in Korean hospitals, it’s a family member or close acquaintance who takes care of you while getting inpatient treatment -- even if you are a full-grown adult.
FUN FACT! About Jae Joon's death writer said that Dong Eun and Do Young had planned together Dong Eun just hand him over as a blind(her revenge) and just let Do young do the rest. And he killed Jae Joon just because it was necessary
I think Yeonjin got what she deserved. Dong-Eun didn't get her hands dirty on Yeonjin and any of her scumbag friends, and Yeonjin got abandoned by EVERY person she ever cared about. Her (fake) friends, her husband, her mom, even her daughter. At the beginning of this series I worried that Dong-Eun might kill her perpetrators but I'm so glad she did not. Death would be far too merciful and too easy of a way out for people who are purposely cruel to others so every bad person in this drama truly got what they deserved. Oh and I LOVED Mrs Kang so much. Especially her attitude. "I might be a bitch, but I'm a cheerful one." This is gonna be my life motto when life gets too shitty. ❤
When the director of the hospital showed up on the rooftop, it’s not her in real person. Acordding to the writer of the drama, she said the director was lika a divine intervention to save dong eun, just like other interventions (her friend from factory, yeo jeong, that woman that saved don eun from killing herself in a river…)
The mother who is friends with Dong-Eun who had a kid marrying that other girl is a loan shark which is why she's rich and has gangsters around her. It's implied somewhere in there and we get other hints. That's why her son looks like a gangster and Dong-Eun has access to gangsters through those connections to get things done.
That cop knows dong eun setting them up but because she had others sow discord and others carry out the dirty work she is just a teacher and model citizen!!!
I truly enjoyed watching this show for the second time through your reactions lol. What I didn't expect that sadly surprised me, and I say sadly because it shouldn't surprise me, but surely warmed my heart, is the way three guys expressed themselves during scenes involving violence, of any kind, towards women. Thank you for showing and expressing sympathy; it may seem the obvious thing to do but you don't see it often, so thank you!
She wasn’t able to imagine a life after the revenge ended. That’s why she was standing on the rooftop. She was only rescued because his mom begged her to safe her son.
Im always surprised when people find out that JaeJun has glaucoma later on. It’s literally written in big red letters on Yeo-jeong computer, when Jae asks him if they will look at everything during and autopsy.
I think they each got the worst they deserved in their own ways. Like even though you guys felt that HyeJeong got away with the least, it meant her own life is over because she has spent her entire way making herself a trophy so that rich guys will fall for her and marry her, thus giving a life she finds comparable to the rest of them. The fact that she has lost her voice and therefore, will not be able to attract any rich guys plus get a job means she is at the mercy of ppl/family ard her. Jaejun has nv had any boundaries, thus losing his life is the worst for him. Yeonjin has lost everything aka. her glory. Sara will likely spend a number of years behind bars bc she assaulted Hyejeong. She has lost her freedom which is most precious to her.
I think that Hye-jeong won’t remain mute. Today, surgeries can do impressive things. All she has to do is to find a proper surgery for her vocal cords, and she can get her voice back. Yeah, surgeries in Korea are not free, but this isn’t the USA.
11:18 Exactly. That, and he tortured So-hee and Dong-eun back in high school. At that time, they were someone’s daughters. How will he take care of Ye-sol? He’s not fit to be a father.
Love this drama!! It's really the ending we all needed. I look forward to more k-drama reactions in the future! I strongly suggest watching Alchemy of Souls. I'm positive you guys are gonna like it❤
My favorite K drama or drama ever! It was really good! If you think about what happened to Yeon Jin was already worst for her. I mean Dong Eun did say that she wanted everyone to leave her and it did happened and the fact that "technically" she didn't kill Myeong O but she went to jail for it too. Her being bullied in the prison is satisfying! Well done! Song Hye Kyo suits well in dark drama too!
It was fun watching this great drama with you guys again. I hope you would continue if the rumored Season 3, does come out and I'll be here again for it.
Hope to see you guys doing My Mister soon. I know your patreons won't vote for it but you should definitely watch it. It starts IU, the GOAT of K-pop and an unbelievable actress.
Someone please tell me they also see the "face" in the whale poster on the wall. It has been creeping me out for weeks now everytime I watch a reaction lol. I guess it's the lighting, but I can't unsee it now.
Landlady happened to be trying to drown herself the same day kid Dong-eun tried to drown herself. In that moment, she prioritized saving the ladylady's life instead of being a bystander or taking her own life.
I recommend a movie extreme job. It's a movie released in 2019. It is a high-concept action comedy in which a police drug team runs a chicken restaurant undercover and conducts a disguised investigation, and strangely, it is a story that takes place when the chicken restaurant business is doing well. It is a very interesting movie and it was a great success. You've seen Parasite and Train to Busan. I hope you watch this movie^^ I guarantee the fun.
Why do people keep ignoring that Jae-Jun and Sohee didn’t sleep with each other, or rather that Sohee didn’t sleep with Jae voluntarily? He is the same scumbag as manbun-jerk. Also the Serialkiller is literally all the bullies and Ms. Kangs husband in one person.
you should totally watch/react to "Flower of evil", every episode feels like a movie, its so full with info about the characters, has crazy twists, it has romance, mistery, action.. and top notch acting, its an emotional roller-coaster ride that will catch you from ep1 I cant recommend this enough, its a 1000000/10 masterpiece
If I were very honest with you guys, I hope Hye-jeong will be able to get her voice back. She wasn’t really as bad as her “friends” as she just wanted to fit in with them and was in love with Jae-jun, and I also feel bad for her because of the way Yeon-jin and most especially Sa-ra treated her. With all the surgeries available at this day and age, Hye-jeong could really have a surgery be performed on her vocal cords and be able to speak again. After this, she can continue to work as a flight attendant, while also changing to become a better person and make amends for her participation in the bullying. Hye-jeong getting her voice back as well as her flight attendant job would also be a very fitting punishment for Sa-ra as I’m sure that she wouldn’t like it if the so-called friend that she actually hated was living her life like Sa-ra never attacked her while her life is slowly deteriorating because of that same attack. On top of that, if Sa-ra ever gets out of prison, I hope she will be poor as fuck and have no choice but to be a janitor at the very same airport where the flights Hye-jeong works on as a flight attendant take off and land as she would see for herself that Hye-jeong is enjoying her life, while she is forced to work at a job that doesn’t pay her well and that forces her to accomplish tasks that she hates (I’m pretty sure Sa-ra wouldn’t enjoy mopping floors and scrubbing airport restrooms for 90 wons a day).
It was a brilliant brilliant story telling! They are now my favorite couple! Yeh that kiss needed to happen for Dong Eun. Finally, she is free! That kiss we had the same reaction!!!!
pleaseeee watch Vincenzo..it was the best kdrama in netflix when it came out and i think its caters to intl audience as well as koreans. tht and/or descendants of the sun . ill cry happy tears if u do.
Come on guys, those blind comments were a little fucked up. "Would you rather be disabled or in prison for life" uhhh, I think my answer would be disabled.
I’ve so much enjoyed re-watching the show with you guys through the reactions! I agree that the relationship dynamic with Yeo-jeong is a bit…. strange. However, I still love the actor so I wanted to recommend ‘18 Again’ if you want to see him in a less weird circumstance 😆. It’s based off the movie ‘17 Again’ where the actor for Yeo-jeong plays Zac Efron’s role. If the movie happens to be on your upcoming to watch list I’d recommend watching the movie before the show so that the cross to a different culture and extensions to the story line are more enjoyable 😊
I loved the series, but there are two things that really bothered me. One is that, all those years they let the serial killer wrote letters to the son of his last victim from the prison without even reading the letters?? I dont thing it's allowed by any standards. Secondly, how is that possible that they didnt allow him to work in a prison cuz he is a relative of the victim of one of the inmates, but then they transferred that inmate to another prison in which the same person works as a doctor? Didnt make sense at all. Lol
I heard they are working on a Part 3... and I hope they are. Imagine Dong-uen visiting with that btch for some reason...and knowing the people she shares her room with LOL! Sorry, that's my ultimate evil thoughts towards that horrid character. I was raised to be careful around ANYONE who worked near construction, land development, etc because those people know how to get rid of bodies until they are about dead (if they are caught before they die in the first place). Jae-jun dead, saves Ys-sol, keeps her safe from him. He's dangerous to her future joy and happiness with her FATHER. I actually watched "Sweet Home" after I watched this because I just enjoyed this so much. I'm enjoying the loss of needless filler episodes (which is basically those clueless hidden hints that people need to catch that American shows have handjold walking us to see with those filler episodes). I'm down to see a 3rd Part because it is almost impossible to make a person with sociopathic and psychopathic personalities have common emotional responses. So I want to see if they show up there. How well do they make a psychopath fear.
23:54 Well, in South Korea, there is a group of people called chaebol, which means they have a lot of money, allowing them to influence certain decisions in their government's choices. Just like the family that owns Samsung and the other big company, they are among the highest echelons in South Korea, enabling them to do whatever they want as long as the public doesn't know. LOL

It's normal for asian people to called old woman grandma/auntie even if they're not related...we also called stranger big bro or sis etc

On top of that, if Sa-ra ever gets out of prison, I hope she will be poor as fuck and have no choice but to be a janitor at the very same airport where the flights Hye-jeong works on as a flight attendant take off and land as she would see for herself that Hye-jeong is enjoying her life, while she is forced to work at a job that doesn’t pay her well and that forces her to accomplish tasks that she hates (I’m pretty sure Sa-ra wouldn’t enjoy mopping floors and scrubbing airport restrooms for 90 wons a day).

i think there are countries that require a guardian for people with disabilities.
Pls pls watch and react to Hospital Playlist or Business Proposal. Both would be great fun to watch.
Duty After School please

I really want you guys to watch and react to strong woman do bong soon !
Lol
the finaleeee aaaaa

I hope you guys reaction true beauty kdrama please
Please please react to the kdrama blind or taxi driver
23:54 Well, in South Korea, there is a group of people called chaebol, which means they have a lot of money, allowing them to influence certain decisions in their government's choices. Just like the family that owns Samsung and the other big company, they are among the highest echelons in South Korea, enabling them to do whatever they want as long as the public doesn't know. LOL
please, review korean movie "My Little Baby Jaya"
