I love this scene so much. Human For A Day was one of the best episodes in all Season 1 (it’s still one of my favourite Supergirl episodes to this day), and it was the first time I felt the series truly realised its potential. After Kara proving that even without her powers she was indeed Supergirl and saving the day, this ending scene with Cat was the icing on the cake. Instead of making excuses to deflate Cat’s anger of Supergirl being absent throughout most of the chaos, Kara makes Cat realise that it was HER actions that helped National City and ultimately helped Kara to keep on fighting and find a way to get her powers back. That smile between them...one of understanding, realisation and true friendship. Love it.
This is the first time I've seen a scene from super girl. I only have two questions: what's with that smile at the end? Does super girl like cat or whatever?
+tiger keys Cats her boss and normally cat doesn't even see Kara or acknowledge her either as kira her assistant or supergirl the hero. Cat is often the most critical but when supergirl wasnt able to save the day for most of the show instead of critizing her like some Cat went and did a broadcast about how she beleved in supergirl. Here they are beginning to form a tintative friendship.
