The way straight naturals to their hair is insane. (Not in a bad way.) Just seeing uou so easily brush your hair makes me want to cry. Im starting next week. I cant take it anymore 😢
Your videos have inspired me to start my journey as a straight hair natural with 4c hair. My hair is just chin length because I often cut it into pixie styles but not I’m growing it out. It’s been 2 years of growing out now and this just seems like such a good way to maintain being natural in a way that’s flexible for me. It’s been 3 weeks now since I first straightened my hair following tips from another one of your videos. Thanks for showing other ways to sleep with the hair. 😊
Thank you! Because I am a minimalist straight hair natural it’s hard to come up with more ideas. I feel like I covered most of it 😩 but I will always be on the search for new ideas!
Girrll I get the struggle! When I first started my journey I just went to a natural hair stylist and she did the bulk of everything which helped a lot!
Thanks for all your helpful straight hair natural videos ❤. I’ve never seen that method of wrapping hair for bed. It’s the easiest/foolproof one I’ve seen 😩. Thank you!!!
Just found this channel and love it❤ haven't relaxed my hair since 2003 and have been wearing high or low ponytails and buns. Am going to try the product free bantu knots and see if i can get some waves. Am chemically sensitive to most products and don't use many.
Absolutely! It won’t last as long with no products but for days where I have an event or something I will add to make it last longer. But I don’t like product buildup lol or you can also add just a light product
Thanks so much for this video. I just became a straight hair natural and I am really struggling. I'm used to wearing my hair naturally curly and wash and gos! But for the fall and winter I decided to wear it straight. The problem that I'm running into is how to keep my hair moisturized throughout a week or two? With my curly hair I could just put conditioner in it and spray it on my hair add a little water and that would do the job but if I add any water to my hair now it would shrink up and I want it straight. I have been blow drying it and flat ironing it every two weeks. If you have any suggestions on how to retain the moisture I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!!!! 😊
Hey girlie, Thank you so much for these hair videos. I am finding them very helpful! I am looking to become a straight natural, but I'm not sure how to get around swimming and working out. Do you workout? If you do, could you share what you do to maintain your hair during workouts and in general over the month? I workout 4-5 times a week and once a week or once every two weeks xx
Absolutely! So, I'll be honest really the only thing I do is wear one of those cloth headbands. I think they also make a sweatproof headband as well. But that is really all. One thing I had to be okay with since I don't like to use heat more than once is a little bit of puffyness. I've learned to embrace it more. But I do try to protect my edges and front as much as I can by using a headband.
Thank you for sharing. I used to trim half inch every three months and my hair flourished then. I think I’ll go back to that routine. Thank you for your insight.
I’m about to be a straight natural and I don’t care if I get heat damage. I rather do this then get a perm
True

Have you tried a dry oil? That is what I use. It doesn't weight hair down or cause it to revert.
@@Growingtowaistlength wow no I've never heard of dry hair oil. I'll definitely have to try it!

Beautiful hair ❤
Thank you so much 😀
Does your root does get puffy under the tight because of the sweat ? This is my issue 😓
Oh really? Then maybe the wrap around would work better. Honestly for me my hair just grows fast. Starts getting puffy after a little over a week
Thank you for sharing your routine. How often do you trim your hair? Do you trim a certain amount each time?
Every 3 months. I trim my ends that look extremely see through. Usually 1/4 or 1/2 an inch. But normally I like to get my hair professionally trimmed.
