It would have been nice to see some depth in this review, such as how stable the stand is (it looked pretty wobbly to me and you holding it down with one hand certainly looked suspicious), how good the card read/write speeds are, what sort of resolutions and refresh rates the display outputs can handle, etc. All in all, this video was really no better than an advertisement as there was absolutely zero critique or in-depth testing (you even missed that the rubber underneath the stand had a fold on one side).
I will surely take some ideas from your setup. I think placing the laptop on a separate holder while connecting it to a better screen is really smart compared to keeping everything on your desk.
I just go both of them. The magnet is not very strong, it doesn't really attach to the base like that, check how this reviewer is holding the base with his thumb or fingers, and the video is edited when turning the base and the case
