    I'm so glad Ivan is back!! I really like him, but there are so many new characters now... This Jean seems like a true gentleman, the voice acting is awesome!! I love the alternative punk group, contrasting with the lady wearing beautiful vintage clothes! Can't wait to see more of them!!

      A lot of new players in the story, right? We are trying to flesh out and world build for both faction since people like both sides. Ivan is a beast and he will return.

    Hello there, Dreadford Chronicles,
    Great video. I love the new houses that you introduced. So many new characters, so many new opportunities for development. I have two questions to ask regarding the vampires of house Orlok. Can they control animals, turn them into familiars? Do they have a habit of turning beautiful happy women into Orlok vampires as punishment for some imagined form of vanity, subconsciously not caring if they are cruel or innocent?

    • @dreadfordchronicles
      @dreadfordchronicles  5 месяцев назад +4

      Thanks for the support, my friend! About the animals, not really. They tend to be mercenaries, soldiers of fortune, rogues. They are very quid pro quo. Never do something for free. Have favors owed to you and never owe them. About turning beautiful people as punishment also not really. Since they run a lot of criminal activity they tend to turn capable criminals and gifted people that may be useful. They tend to view their turning as a consequence of the type of life they lived. "If wasn't doing this bad stuff, this would not have happened". Akin to a lesson not punishment.

      @@dreadfordchronicles Well, that’s interesting to know. I take it they're not the Court's infobrokers, are they? Makes me think twice about showing you this dark little vampire: the Masquerade story pitch of mine, but I’ll give it to you anyway, because your videos are awesome. You could figure something out for it. It's something that you could use for a spin-off video or an episode of a story arch. It is a tragic murder mystery that will serve as a test for the morals and humanity of Daniel Reed, or all these lawful good factions, like that agency and their vampire soldier. Fair warning to anyone who is reading this comment, it features… uh… adult subject matter that is darker and more disturbing than the sewers of Dreadford.
      Imagine a young woman who is a student in college, an endeavor paid for by the earnings of her adoptive parents’ hard-earned labor. She knew nothing about her original family, except for the fact that she had a beautiful single mother who loved her daughter very much. When she was a toddler, her mother disappeared, and she found herself living in the home of foster parents. These foster parents were originally trashy and wretched, but ever since they got that little girl, they've been acting compassionate and vigilant, more caring so than anyone would have thought. Ever since she was a little girl, at every birthday, holiday, or anytime she gets sick, she would receive presents with letters and postcards all signed by “Someone Who Loves You.” These presents were usually toys she has always wanted, like the newest doll, stuffed animal, or other toys she’s interested in. When she became older, the gifts became clothing, makeup, or other things that teen girls love, and the letters became more helpful and frequent. Whenever she found herself miserable or lost, the letters gave her good advice and guidance, but life was getting stranger for her, stranger than what is normal for teenaged girls.
      When she was out at night, either by herself or with her friend, she would see this masked dark-hooded stranger staring at her in the darkness, either on top of a roof, or somewhere else in the distance. She could not see this stalkers face, nor figure out what it is or where it came from. She was pretty, and from what I know about girls, pretty girls tend to get horribly bullied. She was no exception.
      One day, one of the worst of those bullies went to school shaken and traumatized, and tearfully apologized to the girl for all the torment she inflicted. On another, some creep from her high school blackmailed her into doing… repulsive favors. She wept in bed in the night after that, and in morning, she learned that her blackmailer was found, brutally murdered, drained of blood, beaten, and shredded beyond recognition. It was as if a violent beast tore him apart. Whatever was left of him was filled with photos, illegal photos of underaged girls that he had taken in the past. Words cannot describe how disturbing that was, but in the morning after that, she received a box of chocolates, and a letter from “Someone Who Loves [Her],” telling her to feel better.
      When she moved to a dorm in a prestigious college in a city known as Dreadford, she received another letter from “Someone Who Loves [Her].” This one started out with a story about a young girl who ignored the warnings of her parents and tried to go on an adventure at sea on a makeshift raft, but a tidal wave broke her raft apart, and she was eaten by the sharks underwater. Then it led to a list of locations, and a warning to avoid these places, never go to them, because “evil people” lurk there. One of these places was a nightclub called the Rapture.
      It's pretty much common knowledge that around 20% of women get uh… violated in college, and that young woman was no exception, but what makes her different from the other victims was that her abuser was found dead in his room, his body reduced to a gory mess. Learning of this gruesome murder in morning must be utterly jaw dropping, and it’s even more disturbing to contemplate the fact that this second sexual abuser was murdered in a similar manner to the first, a man who lived in a different location she lived in.
      Imagine being that girl. You might ask yourself: “What is going on? What is happening? What is responsible for these horrible murders?
      What do you think of it? Your world, your rules. Thank you for the video.

    • @dreadfordchronicles
      @dreadfordchronicles  5 месяцев назад +2

      It's an interesting premise. I dig that. I think the crimes that happen to her might be a bit extreme, bit I really like the Stalker/Secret Protector plot. It's a very cool story line.

    • @withlovefromlightindust591
      @withlovefromlightindust591 5 месяцев назад +2

      @@dreadfordchronicles Thank you. "A bit extreme," you say. There's nothing wrong with tackling some controversial subjects, some real darkness, as long as you are being very sensitive and it is being tackled very responsibly. Some batman comics and even a few spiderman comics have tackled such controversial topics, though I get why it's risky. RUclips's algorithm hates it, and some people don't wanna hear about it.
      I'm no RUclipsr, or RUclips specialist, but I think I know some tricks that could help you. You can use other words to mention… fleshly atrocities, instead of using the blunt r-word or a pair of words that go by the initials of SA. For the sensitive, just put up a viewer discretion thing at the beginning of a video, a warning sign that says something like “this video contains DISTURBING CONTENT, VIOLENT CONTENT, BLAH BLAH BLAH. Viewer Discretion Advised.” Make it last for about ten seconds so that people are looking at it.
      People who work at the dark edgy entertainment industry gotta tell the world that these kinds of violations are worse than unnacceptable. What’s life without a little risk?

    • @dreadfordchronicles
      @dreadfordchronicles  5 месяцев назад +2

      I agree that there is a lot of content that tackles this atrocities and I also agree that it should be done in a sensitive and respectful manner while making it clear that it is abhorrent. I just felt the story can work even with something not as vile. It is a creative choice in the end and I respect that.
