    I have the Essenza Mini at home and Inissia at work. I recently sent a video message to my sister-in-law (my Nespresso partner in crime) about the 2 machines. I essentially said exactly what you said, but I didn’t include specs or a side by side brew (thank you for that, btw). I like that the Inissia has a bigger water tank and pod catcher, but it’s louder and looks bulky. The Essenza is more attractive and quieter, which is why I have it in my coffee bar at home. 😉 I like both machines, but if I had to pick - Essenza mini. ☕️

    I had a Nespresso Essenza mini (bought it on subscription for £1) but it quickly needed to be replaced(within a year) because of leaking, the replacement also started leaking so now I have the Inissia and yes it does make more noise but no problems so far and I think it is very sturdy machine.

    In the past I have had an Essenza Mini and a Pixie and gave them away to family and a close neighbour. The Essenza a year ago and the Pixie about six months ago. I used both machines for about three years and to this day both machines are still going strong and still delivering excellent coffee to their owners. So both have longevity and are robust. I loved the Essenza Mini as it was quiet and quick to use as you demonstrated in this excellent video. My family are now waiting for me to give my Creatista Pro away but I have told them don’t hold their breath 😀 I hope this helps the subscriber who wanted to know how these machines last and thanks as always for your invaluable videos.

    I had the Essenza for two and a half years and I was overall very happy with it, only upgraded when my frother died and I got a Creatista. the only real drawbacks I found were that the drip tray regularly flooded when using compatibles and the Lungo button sometimes got a bit sticky. otherwise it was a very good easy to use machine, a great introduction to the Nespresso world.

    This Essenzia model is made by De'Longhi. I have the Essenzia Mini Limited Edition made by Belville. I love my machine. It's slimmer and sleeker than the De'Longhi, and the color is a beautiful matte piano black. I have a small kitchen with limited counter space, and this little but mighty machine fits in perfectly.

    I've had my Essenza Mini since Christmas 2018 and it works just as well today as it did straight out of the box. I stuck a thermometer into the coffee I just made and the temp was 70.4C. So mine runs a little hotter than yours it seems. I think they're a very solid little machine all up. I will say, I'm not a great fan of Nepresso coffee's tho', so for the last couple of years I've been putting my favourite blend into refillable stainless steel pods. Makes me happy and good for the environment.

    Hello, i recently purchased the mini essenza variant, is it really 1 pod=1 click on the espresso button? I tried it a while ago, the arpeggio flavor, is the empty pods really heavy?

  • @kamilahmedshaikh7505

    Inissia is very sturdy and big, so if like 2 or more people are going to operate the machine it is good a option. And mostly we are lazy to fill water and discard the pods in bin every time we make a coffee. So inissia being bigger will allow more time for refill water and to discard the pods. Inissia can also slightly bigger cups.
    So the verdict is very clear: one person use then go with essenza. If family use or work then go with inissia.

    Inissia gets carried around from job to job (Work). Has inbuilt airlock (air trap) removal, sturdy handle to crush the pods. I wanted a robust model. I had one only pod issue, my fault in not having unit all the way open. I like the higher temperature as people who have other brand machines say their coffee is colder. Unrelated, but the cheaper non nespresso coffee pods taste like cheap watery coffee.....almost like instant coffee. Other youtube channels have said the Essenza take more effort to punch the coffee capsule, compared to the easy punch on Inissia..

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  2 года назад

      Yeah I do seem to remember being impressed with the heat of the Inissia and thought it was a good sturdy machine. I actually find it really easy to use the pods with the mini and for ease of operation I’d actually go for the mini myself. Overall though I think the Inissia might last longer so if I could only have one I think I’d go with that. Still close though 😅

    Hi! I am very very confused on which one to buy. I have a limited space for a coffeemaker in my room. And I am planning to buy a coffee capsule organizer too. It is gonna be my first time buying a coffee machine. I am just 24 y/o.. what I want is the one that'll last long will be easy to use. And sturdy. And not too pricey. Just the one that's right for its price and is worth it.
    I am very confused between, essenzia mini, innissia and citiz.
    Hope you guys can help me 🙏🏻

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  2 года назад +7

      Personally my favourite is the Citiz out of those 3 machines as I like the flick handle rather than the lever and it's a bit quieter than the Inissia machine. The Mini is really quiet and good but for some reason I'd be inclined to go for the Innisia over the mini as feel it might last longer. So for me would be...
      1. Citiz - if you have the space
      2. Inissia
      3. Essenza Mini

      Hi there. It's difficult to answer as the machines have different pros and cons. From what you've said the essenza mini sounds like a good choice as it's VERY quiet and easy to use - you can also buy compatible pods for it - but if you want mug sized coffees then one of the Vertuo machines might work better for you.

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  3 года назад +5

      You can add hot water to the espresso and vice versa to make an americano or long black but you do have to play around with the ratio of water to espresso a bit to suit your taste. If you're meaning you'd like a cappuccino or latte style drink then you need to buy a separate milk frother - Nespresso sell the aeroccino - and add frothed milk to the espresso. We have a lot of videos on the channel now in case they help at all.

    • @cheekster777
      @cheekster777 3 года назад +3

      Your options would be either use two Lungo capsules, make a tall drink such as a Latte using one or two espresso capsules or instead opt for a Nespresso Vertuo machine which has a range of capsules that make larger coffee drinks.

    • @Eddie-pb4vf
      @Eddie-pb4vf 3 года назад +1

      Thank you both for your replies. I bought a citiz with the aerochino. I have played about with it but find the lungo with water too watery and I’m not really a fan of too much milk either. I think the virtuo machine might suit me better like cheekster suggested.

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  3 года назад +1

      Hi there. You do get some water coming down into the used capsule holder with both these machines but they have a separate water tray attached to the the drip tray. The used capsule holder then sits on top of that if that makes sense, so most of the water stays separate from the pods. Were you using Nespresso's own pods with the Citiz or compatible pods? I've just noticed some compatibles can cause a lot of water to leak down into the capsule bin in the past that's all.

      Hi 👋 Glad you liked the video 🙂
      Being honest I’ve always found it really easy getting the pods into the Essenza mini so wondering what the issue might be. I sometimes struggle positioning them correctly in the Inissia. Can I ask are you using original Nespresso pods or do you use compatible pods? Also the used capsule holder is quite small on the Essenza Mini. Was just thinking if this isn’t emptied regularly this might prevent the pods from dropping in properly and also the lever from closing correctly or closing fully. Don’t know if any of these are causing problems perhaps 🤔
