Awesome. I've been squatting this way for a while, really maximum ROM and all on the quads and it's incredible. I find I really don't need a ton of weight just to destroy my quads
Thank you for this video!! I've been getting a lot of lower back pumps in not only this exercise but others too such as RDL's and deadlifts and you've explained exactly why in this video. All the high view videos failed to explain...
The smith machines at the gym i go to are slightly diagonal, and I’ve found that squatting in the slightly forward direction hits quads better. Anyone else?
On angled smith if you want to bias quads, you want to stand facing the angle so that it helps push you into further knee flexion. So knees will be facing the direction of the angle going further outwards rather than back. If you want to squat for glute bias, then you’d stand facing the opposite way. I probably should have covered that in this. Maybe I’ll make a short video on IG/tiktok just to demonstrate.
Totally irrelevant to the video but i was rewatching ur old videos and u said that u highly recommend L glutamine. Do u go more in depth on it and how to take it in a podcast or video? Just curious
The RUclips needs more love everyone from tiktok needs to get over here great content as always
Ive been trying to focus more on quads and you sir gave me the right recommendation
Definitely needed this video

Great video- just started using these as my main quad movement and loving them so far. Appreciate the info!
It’s a great movement for sure. Glad to help!
Awesome vid, I’ve been tending to shoot my hips out too much lately and need to master my form. Perfect timing with the tutorial

Thanks for this video bro, great job explaining every single detail!!!
Thank you man 🫡🔥
Thanks for the video. Great technique.
Thanks man
More gyms need to carry those squat wedges. That would be a huge help for hitting quads better.

@@sebastianburka glad to know i was correct🤝🏽
Absolutely 👍
Bring back the pods 🐐
What was the shoes u said in the beginning? I got bad tendinitis in my ankles, been a toe walker since birth
Great as always!
Is there anything I need to pay attention to when the smith machine isn't straight but slightly angled?

@@sebastianburka I think I got it. If the smith is like this \ you'd want to face "->" for quads and "
Correct
Thank you both so much for this question and answer! I have been looking for this for a long time!
@@sebastianburkaexcellent video for this topic overall. By any chance have you make the the short video for angled smith yet? Thanks
