Good job 👍
My uncle had mattresses installed in his barn for his 62 milking cows in the main barn back in the late 1990's....improved milk production
kip, you really need to A I those cows. you have some good cows
We just got our youngest "Tiny" (she is little for 5 years old) her new bed, same way, out of her convertible Crib/Toddler Bed, to a Twin just like big sissy's. We have a King, but 10" wish we had at least a 12 for ourselves. Great beds!
Great to see a Michigan Dairy Farm. We’ve got some great farm land. Nothing beats the small town life here. American Flags and great values!
Beautiful, yet empty dairy farms make me sad.
You did pretty good on planting if you miss some who cares you did your best at least it planted that what it counts right
Kip, i know how that goes with the oats nurse crop and alfalfa. Seems like a person almost gets a better alfalfa stand with like 1/2 to maybe 3/4 of oats, and chop the oats off around 2nd cutting, then take a 1st cutting of alfalfa at 3rd cutting time.
Some of the other readers/viewers know what I'm talking about.
My opinion, seems like if you take the small grain to grain anymore, you dont get the stand you like the following years.
You got an A+ on that corn planting! Beautiful straight rows of corn!
As always Kip and crew a fantastic video and thanks for letting us in on your life and farm, so interesting and well put together.
Thanks for another great video Kip.
It was interesting and enjoyable to watch Kip.
Good thing you could use the seed drill to fill in a few places in the soybeans field. That should work.
The corn fields you redid with the four row planter turned out pretty good it appears. That worked out pretty good Kip.
Getting the chopper out and bagger ready for putting up the hay crop. Believe you need it to feed your cows you have said.
Will be busy time when haying.
Like the bed advertisement you did. Those beds look pretty nice and comfortable. Bet Grant likes his new bed. Will have to check it out. Thanks.
Bulls can be a real problem. Especially if you have a couple that are fighting one another. Not trying to say one way or another but believe you would be better with AI.
I did it years ago and it went well.
Eliminate the worry when the bulls.
Like the rubber goose on the mirror-ha!!!!!!!!!
About it I guess. You all take care and be safe.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Kip as always thanks for the great video those cattle are so well cared for lots of moving parts for you guys we all can make mistakes but great job on fixing up the planting hope for a good summer for you can’t wait to see the 4430 blowing hay soon !
My grandpa always tied cloth strips to the fence so the cows could see where the fence was.
Walmart bags I use they seem to work well
I used plastic bread bags.
Didn't any records of the dams and sires come into play?
2 bulls fighting, they will soon sort themselves out in a few days. But, ever now and again in older head strong bulls, who knows....???
Hey Ian, yes they learned to co exist
Nothing better than a new workbench !
Hey Grant Man! You’re working hard out there on the farm! Keep working hard with your dad!
🐮 🌽 🚜 👩🌾 🐈 🐷🐴🐔🐄🐂🌾
I'll give you A+, the rows were nice and straight. Best wishes with the new bulls. Y'all have some really nice farm country.
Thanks for sharing brother.👍👍✌️🇺🇸
I think for planting that in the blind that you did, I think you did a fantastic job
Nice catch up on the farm. Thanks Kip
Corn looks better than me planting without having to fix a skip
Hey tks for the ride along while you picked up your new Bulls. You have some beautiful countryside up your way. I've always liked the up north of Michigan. It's surely different than us down south by Belding. I've never liked too hear about a Dairy Farm selling there cows. Hope they all went to other farms?
Kip been watching your video's for a long time now. I am subscribed and always like what you do with the milk cows. One suggestion when pulling a bumper hitch trailer run the electrical cable in the loop of your hitch lock pin that way if it comes unplugged it won' t drag on the highway.
Yea good work mate on the replant and great video as always love your channel bloke and God bless to you too and your family keep up the great work 👍 from Dean in Australia
I’d say you get an A Kip, just for the fact offset rows are better than no rows😁God Bless all y’all and thx for the vids, keep em comin 🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
I give you A+ on the planting.
Good job guys
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO KIP 😊❤
Everything looking good!!!! I don't think that bull is gonna behave??!!! Good luck 💯 🙏❤️🇺🇲
Good Job Mr Grant getting into a NEW bed......
There’s no seeds on the plate for the first 5 ft or so after you start the vacuum on that planter.
a+
Another dairy farm bites the dust in Hillsdale county.
Ferry Farms of Litchfield Mi.
Another good old dairy gone
That bull with the dry cows looks half jersey
Why not use that 750 no till drill you have? That thing would put beans into anything
Why not sticking with red and white bulls?
I thought you were going AI
I still think you did pretty good considering you were running essentially blind with equipment you don't usually use. Never can trust bills no matter how tame and gentle you think they are.
You get an A from me sir they looked great to me lol
Why don't you use AI?
And look at the missing genetic opportunities
Small children and bulls don't mix
Kips been there with trying the training, I guess overall with the lay out, decided it wasn't for them atm.
