Had mine for a couple of years, perhaps 10-15 hours of actual use, now the engine runs lean and lacks power to the extent that it often stalls, the idle is adjustable but as far as I can see there is no mixture adjustment. I wouldn´t recommend it to anyone. I bought this for it´s light weight which is low, my much heavier Stiga that is twice the age with hundreds of running hours never fails.
An excellent machine - powerful, easy to start and excellent value for money given the price of the well-known models. Prospective buyers however should note the weight and length to be sure they can handle it.. In spite of this, and given that it has an option of steel blade I am very pleased to have purchased it. I would add that, given the fragility and importance of the split pin, it would help to provide a few spares.
Purchased and the idle adjustment is not possible, as it does not have a clutch, the wire disc continues to turn with direct drive. You have to turn it off every time you move, as it is dangerous to move at medium speed, I say medium because it doesn't keep the idle. it always tends to switch off during deceleration.
Any head doesn't turn well as it can't handle greater weight, I tried a 2.5 wire and the click and go head turned very badly, it seemed clogged and vibrated too much. From this I deduce that it cannot be fitted with any optional extras, as it is too weak in horsepower.
I have such trimmer, Partner Сolibri, there is no clutch, the start cord is inside the shaft. Dignity - weight 3.5 kg. When the cold start also falls!!!! :P :D :D Is there a video review for the McCulloch T 22 trimmer?
@@MartyMartin87 It’s not though... it’s literally the exact same engine weedeater, poulan, craftsman, etc use for their trimmers and some blowers and it is low quality and as basic as it gets. And it’s NOT produced by Husqvarna, it’s produced in the Sears-poulan/craftsman factory. It’s a cheap, small and relatively weak engine. It’s nothing special! End of story.

Truly a horrid little machine, terrible ergonomics, the motor burns your arm, the power is too weak for long grass. Feels like its been designed by someone who has never used a strimmer before
Considering getting this Mac 25cc trimmer online for my property next spring. heard it’s powerful and has excellent cutting performance.

@@midwestsirens I have made my own experience. This is a high quality engine by Husqvarna.

Feed it some weeds and it'll soon get fat /s
