Thanks for this guide man! I've wanted an excuse to play with a Raspberry Pi and as my tablet is dying (which I just use as a music streamer) I finally got an excuse! Big props for the links setting up Gapps etc, it would have taken me centuries to figure that out.
When doing a konstakang drive resize with gparted I like to increase the size of system partition as well this is very useful if you wish to use the larger version of gapps
There was a new version released two days ago (November 23rd) that is working perfectly for me. So the title "it's not ready yet" was appropriate, but 2 weeks later IMO it's not true.
The apkpure link is broken and with the multiple different versions of Android for raspberry pi coexisting now I think maybe an updated video is in order?
My question is how to really shutdown the pie with gpio input... pin 21 with shutdown key only open power menu on android or "sleep" if you hold a little longer..
i have android working on thr pi 5 and it is version 14 after a month of reserching but finally the konstakang team made it possible Edit: i also have Gapps working by using mindthegapps for android 14 arm64 version
I tried it and it’s useless. Install an app , won’t work, use the browser, won’t work. I’ll stick with windows arm at least it works and is user friendly
Man, the thing with his builds aae that remote doesn't work. He doesn't respond properly to that query as well. If you guys seriously think about making an Android tv box out of Rpi via flashing his builds, don't!
@@damzelfly No it's not. It's a desktop class computer with stable software that starts at $60 brand new. There's nothing about it that's too expensive.

Just Got Some PS2/Wii/GC working on my KonstaKANG Android 14 image. (Vid uploaded)
I have never made working Android TV HDMI-CEC on LG tvs via Simplink and it's kinda shame, that it does not work

I can't even get it to boot up. It's stuck on the starting up animation. Did you do changes in the config-file?
Same problem

Can you program gpio pins after installing android on pi

The raspberry pi 5 is a big disappointment overall.
Why so?
