Mikko Hirvonen´s worst nightmare has come true eventhough Loeb is driving next season only couple races but with this fast and reliable VW Polo WRC has drivers like Sebastian Ogier and just read that Marcus Gröholm might be back. It´s not sure yet but at least he is testing new Polo WRC. I hope Mikko can still show his supertalents, eventhough Marcus is my favourite for ever.
Did you notice the engine regulations have changed in the WRC since 2011? The powerplants in WRC cars are no longer 2000cc engines but 1600cc's, even in development you should waste no time developing a 2000cc engine for competition when the engine is not even allowed...
Skoda fährt mit seinem Fabia S 2000 im Feld der WRC Fahrzeuge rum und hat das beste Auto in der Klasse SWRC. Insofern könnte dieser WRC Polo ein großer Wurf sein. Power, Fahrwerk, Handling scheint ja 1A zu sein. Bleibt die Frage, ob die Übersetzung so gut gelingt, dass die Autos jeweils ein Tick schneller sind, als die der Konkurrenz.
