I remember discovering GIMPS and running Prime95 on my parents' computer as a kid. I never got into the finer details of the math or programming, but I think it's so cool how breakthroughs were made over time and the work that was done to prove a number either composite or prime changed several times.

Great video, it's so hard to find maths content that isnt either not related to what you want to find or just incredibly complicated.

I truly believe its really kool and awesome actually, I didn't realize about these perfect and mersenne prime #'s until recently. Its in our day to day life but finding them is an adventure by which I don't think its boring or a waste at all, I think its pretty kool and fascinating having to seek or search these prime #s. But most importantly when we look at the sky and view the stars above us and the world around us, of how perfectly created everyone and everything are, that is where we all know that there is a creator behind the vastness of life all around, and that is GOD The Almighty because He is perfect and Good. I enjoyed the video, definitely sparked my curiousity in the prime and perfect #s search lol.

I really love your channel bro. Great content, great narration, cool animations. Just wish you could break things down a bit better for people like me with zero math background. I got lost a few times 😔

With the advancement of modern computers 🖥 will they ever find a prime number greater than 2^82,589,933-1. In the world 🌎 there must be someone out there trying it.
