And here we are again with some funny Amiga fanboyz. To feel the need to constantly repeat the same bullshit despite that the Atari ST was purposely made as a "budget" 16-bit computer is rather puzzling. It's as if they need to reassure themselves... Anyway and as I've just said: 1° the ST version of Maupiti Island sounds better on real hardware or using more accurate emulation than here 2° both Amiga and ST versions have the same graphics, ST version just has slightly worse sampled audio 3° the Atari ST was released before and for less than two thirds of the Amiga price and still has many multiplats about as good and sometimes better than the latter (Falcon, Captain Blood, Addams Family...). So if "Amiga rulez" (and it does), ST rulez too (and it does, too!) =)
@@Rimmer666 Love me some good ol' system wars but at the same time maybe that we could expect a bit more enlightenment by this point? ;3 As for colors, I've compared several screenshots and same graphics in both versions. And while the Amiga version runs in higher resolution (320x256 pixels), it actually has 2 wide black borders and thus shows the exact same screen estate (320x200 pixels). Both versions are good anyway but I think that the ST version is cooler because it makes better use of the hardware (very good graphics and sampled audio (with a sound chip that, initially, wasn't meant to be used as such)).
