Moment I have a Pixel and sometimes I wish I had an iPhone 8 Plus or X just for the dual lenses. With Moment lenses you get so many focal lengths with this! 18mm Wide, 28mm iPhone, 36mm (approx) Wide on Tele, 60mm Tele, 120mm Tele on Tele, so many focal lengths!!!
Hey guys, thanks for making this! It answered one of my biggest questions, as I don't have the Note8 case yet and couldn't try it for my self. On the Note8 you don't need a third party app to choose focal lengths, the native app allows you to do it, you know because Android 😉😀 I'm super stoked to get the Note8 case and the rest of your lenses (only have wide atm), I just wish I didn't need to wait till the middle of February. Keep on being awesome!

OK SO this is weird. I visited Washington for the first time last weekend to shoot a festival at the Gorge Amphitheater and it was my first time using the telephoto lens used in your video. I had some time to kill before my flight home and was referred to checkout this market in Seattle. I was shooting the "Public Market" sign and got hella deja vu. I eventually remembered this video existed. I just thought it was crazy how I paid no attention to where this video was shot and ended up taking a picture of the same sign with the same lens on my phone just by chance. Crazy. Idk thought I'd share! (:

Cant wait to get my hands on some moment lenses. Had some olloclips in the past but the quality of the moment lenses seems to be much better espacially in the corners.

Bought the Moment Photocase and Tele Lens v2 last year for my iPhone 7, but my company upgraded me to iPhone 8 Plus just before Xmas. Had read somewhere that the Tele Lens was no use with the 8 Plus, as it already had its own Tele Lens. Was preparing to sell my case and lens but emailed your guys first to check. They confirmed it does work, so ordered the 8 Plus photo case, which arrived 2 days ago. Looking forward to the weekend to shoot some sports photos with a bit of 2x and 4x. Nice video, thanks.

Question: Do you have infinite focus with the Moment tele on the iPhone's tele lens? Looks like objects further away are not that in focus and sharp, thats why I'm asking. I guess thats the only downside, but you can't have them all. ;) Keep up the good work!
This a wonderful video guys really appreciate it! I also gotta say though, based on my personal experience, the Moment app can be a little frustrating at times because it’s so sensitive to gestures imo. When I want to adjust the exposure, I find myself changing the temperature or focus instead and sometimes end up taking bad quality pics without noticing :(
I hit those spots almost daily with the iPhone X and Moment wide. Tele on tele would be sick for portraits. Y’all should retail out of your office so I don’t have to wait for shipping 😉
What would you recommend for a noob I’m just getting started. I plan on using all this gimbal ,light , mic set ups to de reviews on products and some vloging. And maybe some family adventures. I don’t want to jump in to deep and it goes to waste. As I did with my disr camera went and bought a Nikon d5000 which came with a 18-55 mm a few years ago and ended up buying a 35mm lens 55-300 lens 50 mm lens along with the external flash and other accessories and now it sirs in the corner
I have an iPhone X, bought the Moment 58mm and the wide lens, bought the Freefly Movi. My biggest complaint is the tele on tele only works with the Moment app. The Movi only works with the Movi app. When are all the apps going to be compatible with each other AND when is FilmicPro going to get onboard??!! I want to use my Moment lenses, Movi and FilmicPro together at the same time. Any ideas when this will happen? Thank you!

Noob question: the iphone XR blurries the background via software, right? Just like the Pixel 3. The iphone XS however uses the 2nd lens to do that. So, if I attach a lens mount in one of the cameras, wouldn't that obstruct one of the lenses, hampering the ability to create said effect? I really don't know the answer because the 58mm Moment movie was recorded on an iphone XR, with a single lens camera.

I have an iphone 8+. is there anyway to make the Moment Macro lens take photos at 5x magnification not 10x ? 10x is too close and zooms in too much. If you could provide a solution can you imagine how many jewellery industry people might be interested in your lens? I just got back from the Hong Gem Fair which has attendance of 50 000+ people from all around the world and everyone was trying to snap quick reference shots with their smart phones. You get terrible results..... I have previously carried around a small DSLR but it is inconvenient. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanking you in advance. CHB
Wanted to see how the portrait mode looked with wide on tele. Also the iPhone app doesn’t switch to the tele lens if you’re in a dark environment, it does if it’s decently lit though.
You can't apply portrait mode with a Moment lens mounted to the case. The iPhone requires both lenses in order to assess depth information so it'll just refuse to take a portrait photo. It'll instead just end up taking a normal tele shot.
Can you show a demonstration using the Tele Lens and Portrait Mode? I understand you have to use a third party app. i am using ProCam, which has a feature where you can utilize the ios Portrait mode. I am also using the Camera+ app and filming with Filmic Pro.

Hey guys I preordered the freefly movie I’ll be using iphone8plus I’m a barber and take lots of photos of my work what lenses should I purchase? Also where can I get counterweight for movi or do I even need them?
In some cases it does, but the Apple native camera will actually select a lens based on certain lighting conditions so sometimes if you hit 2x in the native camera it will do a digital zoon from the standard lens.
The only third party app that switches correctly to the tele lens for me is filmic pro but I can’t figure out how to take photos it will only allow me to take video. Is it possible to take photos in filmic pro?
I bought the v2 tele with the corresponding case. I was actually excited to see how using the tele on moments app on my 8 plus woud look with the lens , problem I hit was the v2 tele lens has a VERY unwanted and annoying vignette issue that cannot me fixed according to the people at moment.If I wanted vignettes id put them in myself! REALLY SUCKS and brings the whole telephoto lens usage thing down ALOT! Kinda sorry I bought moment lenses now
Does your tele lense vignette still? Been watching some reviews and that's one reason I didn't get it with my order as well as I saw it loses quality. Is this still so issue for the tele lense for pixel 2 xl?

Does Tele on Tele allow better portrait shots from farther distance? Does it allow some shallow dof video?
The ideal focal length for more pleasant portraits is about 80mm, so it should be much better indeed.
