Pinoy White Boy - Nicely Done! Ribs would be the most ideal cut of meat because of the bones. The bones makes the broth more flavorful. I do know most Westerners don't like mixing bones in their meal. It's too bad you cant get hold of the Sabah banana. I know it's hard to obtain specially in remote places in the USA. Most Asian supermarkets will have them in the frozen section. Plantains are the second best option.
The Saba I used was found in the frozen section, actually. It just kinda disintegrated due to the boiling. I love the idea of using ribs, I will certainly give it a try. Thanks for watching!
Hi. Just wondering. What you did in the video is different from what you wrote in the description below. You said cook meat for 10 min, but in description it says 25 minutes. Which one is correct?

@@pinoywhiteboy8021- You probably left the Saba too long. Cook Saba towards the end of cooking in the last 15 to 20 mins.

I noticed that too. Also, the ingredients are different.
And he mentioned to sear the meat in the description but it was not done in the video 🤔

Pochero or caldo de res
Do you wash your meat before hand
Hi. Sorry for the late reply. No I usually don’t wash the meat before cooking them. Thanks for watching!
Turn your music down. Or better yet...off. Or best yet, all of the above AND get a microphone.
