Hello everyone!
I know it has been quite a long time, it is good to finally start making content again. Today I've decided to make instant pot Filipino Chicken Tinola or Tinalong Manok. Which is a chicken soup that has been flavored with garlic and ginger, usually the soup has Green papaya or Chayote and some sort of leafy green (Bok Choi, Spinach, Kale, Chili Leaves, etc) This soup is pure comfort food for when you are sick, or when the weather is starting to turn cooler.
I also just want to say, I shot this video and edited it myself, I know there are some errors, as I am now in a huge learning process. Please understand I am trying my best to create content for everyone. I apologize in ...

Hello All! The Pinoy White Boy is back with another Filipino Adobo Video. There are many different variations of Adobo, and it varies from cook to cook, and region to region. Просмотров 2,1 тыс.5 лет назад
Hi everyone, I'm back with another video for you guys. This time I'm cooking something that has been popular in the US for the past few years jackfruit. Americans usually use jackfruit as a vegetarian/vegan version of pork or beef in dishes such as pulled "pork" or vegetarian bbq. In the Philippines, jackfruit is eaten in two ways: The ripe jackfruit is used in desserts, like turon and halo-hal...

Hello! I'm back again with a new video. This time I'm making one of my wife's favorite Filipino food Kare-Kare. Hello PWB, I use large chunked peeled russet potatoes and sliced bok choy (or whole baby bok choy in pace of chayote/papaya and kale. No browning, but just a light sauté with the onions, garlic and ginger. Serve with white rice.

Delicious recipe - for 1 cup soy and 1 cup vinegar, I would use more than 3 lbs of meat though.

Try adding 2 cloves of garlic to kick that adobo a notch or 2. I can't believe the comment section isn't saying anything about this.

Looks great! One change I will make is that I will brown the meat first to get a nice crust on the beef chunks. Then I'll remove them and sauté the garlic and onions making sure to scrape the beefy goodness off the bottom of the pot. Looking forward to trying your recipe! Thanks for sharing!

Did this tonight. Had to use chicken breasts. Next time I need to use chicken thighs. Also, I doubled the recipe because there is 8 of us and made 8 lbs. it turned out to be more like soup. I think I would do 1.5 times the sauce instead of double or maybe not double the sauce at all. Gotta tweak it for next time. Even though the sauce was runnier it was amazing.

Great recipe. Try using coconut milk next time instead of brown sugar. And serve it with the jasmine rice, and a fresh banana on the side. Try it like that next time. You might like it.✌😎👍

"3-4 cloves" of garlic is not "a lot" in a Filipino cooking. Don't be afraid of garlic, it's the greatest thing that ever happened in the culinary world.

I just discovered your channel and it’s fascinating how different the same dish can be by just changing a few ingredients. My family makes this dish without browning the chicken and we season the broth the same but we also add fish sauce. Hope you make more videos I like your content.
