Instant Pot Filipino Chicken Tinola (Tinolang Manok)
Hello everyone!
I know it has been quite a long time, it is good to finally start making content again. Today I've decided to make instant pot Filipino Chicken Tinola or Tinalong Manok. Which is a chicken soup that has been flavored with garlic and ginger, usually the soup has Green papaya or Chayote and some sort of leafy green (Bok Choi, Spinach, Kale, Chili Leaves, etc) This soup is pure comfort food for when you are sick, or when the weather is starting to turn cooler.
I also just want to say, I shot this video and edited it myself, I know there are some errors, as I am now in a huge learning process. Please understand I am trying my best to create content for everyone. I apologize in ...

Hello All! The Pinoy White Boy is back with another Filipino Adobo Video. There are many different variations of Adobo, and it varies from cook to cook, and region to region. This time were using Pork Shoulder instead of Chicken thighs. This is my absolute favorite thing in the world, I love adobo, and used to request it from my Wife's Lola every time I'd visit. Sorry about the intro and exit a...
Instant Pot Jackfruit in Coconut Milk (Ginataang Langka)
Просмотров 2,1 тыс.5 лет назад
Hi everyone, I'm back with another video for you guys. This time I'm cooking something that has been popular in the US for the past few years jackfruit. Americans usually use jackfruit as a vegetarian/vegan version of pork or beef in dishes such as pulled "pork" or vegetarian bbq. In the Philippines, jackfruit is eaten in two ways: The ripe jackfruit is used in desserts, like turon and halo-hal...

Hello! I'm back again with a new video. This time I'm making one of my wife's favorite Filipino food Kare-Kare. This is traditionally made with oxtail and/or tripe, but I decided to use beef chuck roast instead because it is more accessible to most people. Below is the recipe for your reference. Please let me know if you decided to make this recipe or if you have any questions. :) Also, don't f...

INSTANT POT PORK SINIGANG (SINIGANG NA BABOY) Ingredients: 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 large...

Where is the potatoes 🥔
Where's the garlic! Most important ingredient!🤨🤨
At time stamp 4:22
Hello PWB, I use large chunked peeled russet potatoes and sliced bok choy (or whole baby bok choy in pace of chayote/papaya and kale. No browning, but just a light sauté with the onions, garlic and ginger. Serve with white rice.
Delicious recipe - for 1 cup soy and 1 cup vinegar, I would use more than 3 lbs of meat though.
Try adding 2 cloves of garlic to kick that adobo a notch or 2. I can't believe the comment section isn't saying anything about this.
At timestamp 4:22 he realises he forgot and adds it.
Yummy! 🥰🤩😍
Looks great! One change I will make is that I will brown the meat first to get a nice crust on the beef chunks. Then I'll remove them and sauté the garlic and onions making sure to scrape the beefy goodness off the bottom of the pot. Looking forward to trying your recipe! Thanks for sharing!
Looks tasty!
Should be called soysouce adobo
no kale in the Philippines!!
I’m Filipino and I don’t even know how to make Kare Kare. Thnx for sharing pare. Gonna try ur way.
Thank you so much!! I added boiled eggs at the end, and when it was reheated, it was fantastic. Please add more content!! I am guessing you are an American who grew up in the Philippines? I grew up in Tokyo as a child of an expat too.
Thank you brother..I can do this!!!!
Outstanding delicious and simple recipe, thank you!
EASY, I WILL TRY WHEN I BUY MY INSTA POT

Can you make igado?
More Instant Pot Filipino recipes please!
There is a Filipino market near me that has food to go. I tried this dish and was blown away by it. I'm so glad to come across this recipe! Now I will make my own! Thank you so much!
can you please make a munngo guisado recipe?
Making this today!
Made this yesterday! Came out great!!!
I always come back to this video when I want some chicken adobo. In fact it’s the only thing I cook in my instant pot.
Do you also have a video on making Ginisang Sayote in an IP? I'd be interested to watch that :)
Thank you kindly for the recipe. I've made this a few times and after it's done cooking I add one can of coconut milk to it and it's so tasty, I would suggest the coconut milk every time!
I was a bit skeptical at first, but this is spot on!
Did this tonight. Had to use chicken breasts. Next time I need to use chicken thighs. Also, I doubled the recipe because there is 8 of us and made 8 lbs. it turned out to be more like soup. I think I would do 1.5 times the sauce instead of double or maybe not double the sauce at all. Gotta tweak it for next time. Even though the sauce was runnier it was amazing.
Just watched this as I’m Trying to make Kare Kare... good job pare, really good job 👏🏽. I’m almost finished but we will see if it’s any good for my first time trying this .
Great recipe. Try using coconut milk next time instead of brown sugar. And serve it with the jasmine rice, and a fresh banana on the side. Try it like that next time. You might like it.✌😎👍
You could marinade right in the pot.
"3-4 cloves" of garlic is not "a lot" in a Filipino cooking. Don't be afraid of garlic, it's the greatest thing that ever happened in the culinary world.
Looks like Mom's Adobe, now I'm hungry😋
Thats the recipe I do also. Good recipe. Filipina approved.
When u poured all the sauce on top of it I went "ohhhh yeah baby"
Haha I have the exact hotpot
ur so cute😍
Looks good 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I just discovered your channel and it’s fascinating how different the same dish can be by just changing a few ingredients. My family makes this dish without browning the chicken and we season the broth the same but we also add fish sauce. Hope you make more videos I like your content.
My wife is a Pinoy White Girl
I love chicken adobo. My BFF's Filipino Mother, who didn't use the brown sugar. BUT, I'm going to try that this time in my Instant Pot! Thank you for sharing! oh yeah, she added potatoes!
Yummy
