Fantastic job! How has the paint held up on the walls? I want to paint my Chalet because I don't like the wallpaper-ish finish they came with. However, I'm worried the paint won't last on that kind of surface and end up looking worse later! ;) Not sure if A-liners have the same wallpaperish OEM walls that Chalets have though.
My walls were already white so I left them as is. I did however paint all of my raw wood with and exterior satin paint to seal the plywood and make it a bit more durable. So far that has held up.
Add 12v (cigarette lighter style for higher power devices) outlets next to all the 120v outlets. This will allow the ability to run all devices directly off the battery when offgrid. This keeps the device powering simple when used, and eliminates single point of failure (DC to AC power converter).
First Last great minds think alike. I plan to install 12v usb charging ports on both ends of the Aliner for exactly the reason you stated and because a lot of my power needs will be for usb ports. I am trying to stay away from things like a 110v coffee maker and microwave. Thank you for your support.
Hi Salman....I do not have a video for that and am currently snowed in. But here's a link to a video that shows you the basic mechanics of how the roof gets setup. ruclips.net/video/1pzZ9Nv1ZoM/видео.html
