Try strong coffee instead of water. Supposed to enhance chocolate flavor and I do it with my TX sheet cake. Agree you can take short cuts with putting cake together. 😊
Next time your out of powder sugar you can make your own . 1 cup of granulated sugar /1 tablespoon of corn starch combine both inside of a blender or food processor on high for several minutes it works just fine . I'm new to your channel and really enjoyed your video . Enjoy your day

I canned some of my summer squash and zucchini together last year. I'm going to add some pickle crisp next time. But it doesn't make any difference if you use it to make squash casserole. It just bakes up really nice. Just drain it really good.

My mother always called them cookie sheets. I never knew that fact until a few years ago when I went to order cookie sheets from Pampered Chef. That's when I realized the sheets with the 1" sides are actually jelly roll pans. 😁 Your pretasting is to make it's not substandard. 😁

I have a zucchini recipe that my mother-in-law showed me. First, you chop an onion in either pieces or small slices. Saute them in some vegy oil or olive oil, add in one large or 2 small sliced zucchini pieces and saute till they are soft tossing the onions and zucchini together. Salt and pepper to your taste. Next add a can of stewed tomatoes in. Stir . Now add a generous amount of parmesan cheese over the top. Pop in a 350 degrees oven for 20 minutes. I have used also provolone or mozzarella cheese on top. Delish! The cake you made was one of my mother's finest!

Pro Tip; take a very small lid ( like the lid to a spaghetti sauce jar) fill with apple cider vinegar and the gnats will drink and die.
