- What a way to start the "Big Talks Podcast" with one of the first UK MCs in the game. Mensa sits down with the legend himself MC Vapour for a well needed and honest conversation. MC Vapour was one of the first MCs to go viral as the internet became more popular in the early 2000s. Sites such as Napster and Lime Wire gave us the opportuinity to see and hear a new world before we had RUclips. Since then a resurgence of UK Garage is under way as we see timeless classics acts become popular again and new artist break the scene.

Manchester and bristol seem to have a massive new garage following.. with the likes of interplanetary criminal, daffy, bakey, main phase, burnski..ect.. where as london only seems to put on old skool garage events for some reason

@@bigradiolondon8135i believe it has alot to do with what vapour says here.. alot of old school garage fans stick to what they liked as a youngster.. me personally i love all them tunes.. but you gotta stay current for the scene to grow.. i search and purchase new garage on a weekly basis for my decks at home. And therse so much good stuff out there these old school garage fans dont even kno about

Personally for me i love all the old tunes.. but i search weekly for new ukg for my decks at home. Theres so much new garage out there thats banging.. but ive got no idea why its popping off in other citys but not in london. It has botherd me for ages tbf

Love Vapour this takes me back in the day, you should ask him about being MC Viper for a minute or two. B4 Vapour as one night up Hollywood Romford I was with my mate trev one half of double trouble and he mentioned viper (how I knew him) was now vapour and Martin turned up with snake eye contacts in and Mc'd as Vapour wicked night, Harold hill massive lol

@@bigradiolondon8135 yeah you’ll have to check with Martin,but I’m sure he was viper but found out someone was already viper so changed to vapour, I could be wrong as was taking a lot of substances back then. But I defo remember him with snake eye contacts lenses in And wearing a white adidas tracksuit
