lol i’m the complete opposite a body guy and i gotta do the radiator condenser and intercooler i’m sure i could figure it out but nothing like a video to give me a idea before!
Too bad it was physical damage. Good job. My 2018 EXT (bought new) had 116,000 when the AC started blowing warm. Honda diagnosed and replaced the condenser under extended warranty for known AC issue. Other than that, I haven’t had an issue with my four year old Civic. Parts are relatively cheap. Service/maintenance are fairly inexpensive. At 120,000 I replaced the water pump, drive belt, flushed coolant, and replaced the PCV valve for $1,045. Considering the labor involved in replacing the water pump, I consider the cost as reasonable. With aggressive maintenance, I hope to get at least 300k miles without major repair to the engine, turbo, or transmission. 🙏
What type was the coolant temp sensor of the radiator? My civic doesnt have any sensor in the radiator and it overheat if i not turn on the A/C due to not turn on
What fix do you recommend my 2019 civic needs done if the radiator was dented in like in the video but more in the middle and a air leaking noise occurs right after now my AC wont blow cold now need help pa porfa 🙏
Push the connector in towards the plug then press the tab and try to release connector. If not, try to use a pick to release tab. Just be careful not to break it.
Thank you for the reply. I did all the steps and the car is overheating. Feels like a blockage because the fan won’t start. Could you give any advice for that please? Really love the content brotha
is the sensor you talk about in 12:16 the “ECT Sensor 2 circuit High voltage” ?
I think it’s to turn the fans on, might be called the ECT sensor 2. Some Hondas don’t have it.
How did you unplug the big plug from the radiator fan? I couldn't figure that out since there seem to be nothing to press.
Yo I appreciate it I didn’t know how to take off a civic bumper I’m a mechanic and never done I appreciate it brother
I didn’t know either. Lol…

If it doesn’t have it on the radiator it should have it on the head, some cars only have one sensor. Check your coolant level or your fuses.

Question how do you make sure that it’s discharge that has nothing in it?
There is a low and high port, fitting, on low and high pressure line. You discharge it from there.
