@kingj3919 late reply but basically he’s saying that by voting for Will he’s giving the faithfuls a gift, basically a clue. He’s saying that Will is the traitor
@@elitelevi2948 Exactly. When they become traitors they have to swear under oath not to give away any other traitors and the others voted Will thanks to "a parting gift". Did Keiran cheat then? I think Will should have won.

Putting Hannah in front of Wilf during the ceremony after being the one who suspected of him after Kieran's elimination was a brilliant move. Her look while battling with what she believed was the truth vs. the idea of Wilf being a traitor made for a thrilling moment of television.
@@esckesch I don’t mean the tasks, that’s totally different. I mean in her ability to get traitors out. She was bobbins, but she won the money in the end so guess she’s the one laughing now
I’m just so happy that Aaron won. That boy was so respectful especially to Andrea. He held her hands while walking and was overall sweet albeit a bit dumb. Him mentioning his mum everytime was so cute too. I felt so bad for him during the round tables. Maddy was absolutely wild for putting him through it every time without evidence. And John, Aaron just wanted to get to know him better n man got triggered. Also John calling him out for crying was mad 🙄 an ep later he does the same.
OMG yes John was so hypocritycal 'cause he literally cried the next day he mocked Aaron for crying 'because it's just a game'. Also what kind of A hole mocks someone for having a panic attack? And the way he kept yelling at Aaron who was just trying to understand why he was mad at him dude had me SO PISSED OFF
@@gamingoutlaws9765 not really, she couldn't convince anyone to see what she was seeing, which is half the battle. Also, didn't she accuse Meryl and Aaron (and probably others) too? Kind of takes away from it if you're more wrong than right imo.
Minus that nasty little man John and that narcissistic Imran, and the first few contestants that were murdered, they didn't get much airtime, but they were boring anyway.
@@peterf08 they were all there for their own benefit or am I missing something? They all had their own reasons for wanting the money. If a traitor was to win the money, I’d say it would be fully deserved as it must be so hard keeping up the lie every day for 2 weeks! Will played it brilliantly!
@nicholamarieuk3818 if this was the case two of the faithfuls at end could of plotted to get rid of another to half the money and they didn't I understand what you are saying he did play a good game just hard to root for him
@@rickysfilmreviews3825 erm he probably couldn’t. That’s not how estate agency works 😂 homeowners who are selling their houses don’t give the estate agent a discount if they buy it! 😂
I am so happy Aaron got to win some money. Honestly he was so respectful and a brilliant contestant. He also wanted to win the money for his mum which is so sweet. ❤️
Wilf got rid of all his traitor buddies, what a play! I think he would have won it had he let Kieran stick around. Kieran is the reason the faithfuls won such a clutch and mad respect goes to him. What an amazing game show!
I think Wilf's biggest mistake was recruiting Kieran as a traitor. He should've recruited Hannah instead because they were both so close and could've trusted each other more. They could easily manipulate Aaron & Meryl and convince them to banish Kieran, then they both would've won as traitors in the end (although it depends on if Aaron is still sus on Wilf after that).
The elephant in the room was that Hannah, Meryl and Aaron were three of the weakest contestants. The fact they barely worked out it was Wilf despite Kieran all but telling them directly shows how clueless they were.
Loved it. I liked Wilf & he held out a long time & made it exciting, but it was karma for him. He played a great game but betraying Kieran wasn’t wise for me. They could’ve swayed the girls to banish Aaron, then banished Meryl together, & finally Hannah, to win & split. Even with the Parting Gift, Meryl still ended the game & believed Wilf. So I just see Kieran’s actions as part of the game, albeit making others suspicious. No worse than Will’s plotting about him all day. He went out swinging after being backstabbed. I’m glad Aaron won some money as he contributed to a lot of it & could’ve been eliminated a few times.
Yes. Aaron wanted to help his mom..and that made me cry.. Meryl has no gut instinct...at all cause she trusted Wilf.. ha. He moved too passionate about not being a traitor..and made himself sus.. Glad those ppl won
Wilf was an excellent strategist but ultimately betraying fellow traitors was his downfall. Kieran knew the signs and knew Wilf would thrown him under the bus. Kieran left enough doubt for the others to question him. They would have lost if it was down to Meryl, wanting the game to end. She Has honestly been gifted her winnings and never questioned the crypticness of Kieran’s final message. Hannah voted correctly banishing Alyssa and Amanda and glad she finally saw through Wilf. Aaron never got anyone correctly banished until the final and glad he also finally figured out what was in front of him! My winners were Wilf and Kieron. Wilf for keeping it interesting but essentially leaving his friends to win the final. Kieron for his gameplay. Maddie for having a bit of logic and not following the crowd- but think she lost her mojo towards the end and she was tired with it all. Hoping for series 2.
@@scotland152 have to agree with you, the remaining traitors need someone or a pair who fully trusts them, & they had that in Meryl & Hannah. I thought Aaron would get banished first before Will would sway them against Kieran & they would end the game with Will as a winner, & the girls ending up losing. But I’m glad there was a bit of karma. If he had spoken more to Amanda they could’ve been untouchable. Will did a tonne to add to the prize money, as did Aaron, and I feel the other getting £33,000 was a bit undeserved, but that’s the game I suppose. Series 2 - I hope they keep it fairly normal people. I’ve noticed a lot of them had a social media presence beforehand. My partner actually got messaged to apply by the casting people but she didn’t reply. It’ll be way more popular next time!
I don't get how you can say that, they are literally the exact same show, even some missions are the same, banishments are the same, murders are same, finale's the same. What did I miss?? The Hosts? OK, they're different.
UK version is more raw and I think even at the banishments they vote on how they wanna vote instead of the US version where they usually vote with majority
@@steveburke1519 They did have some different missions on the first season of the US show. What I don’t like about the US is that they mixed reality stars with regular people. It changed the environment as some already knew others from outside, and how they “would behave”. Then second season had all reality stars which made it more boring.
@ellidione9385 considering the US version is the only one with reality stars, I think it adds an interesting dynamic. People use each other's professions against them.
Will at start of episode: “I will stop at NOTHING to get that money, it’s mine, I don’t care who I have to screw over to get it” (basically everyone else mean nothing to him). Will after being banished: “I LOVE you guys SO MUCH, I can’t express how happy it makes me to see you all win that money”. I can only imagine what he’s like in real life.. 😂

Kieran, absolute legend. Went out calmly and on his own terms. Betrayed the traitor, and was faithful to the faithfuls. Those 3 should be thanking Kieran and not wilf, cos if it wasn't for Kieran, all 3 woulda been brutally betrayed by their beloved wilf.
I loved this game ,a frightening look at human nature,I think one step further ,three people can decide the fate of the rest of the team ,imagine if the team was a whole nation and the politicians were the traitors, scary

I really liked the way Wilf played the game, he was a great traitor and, in time, may go down as one of the best Traitors in the series. Congratulations to Meryl, Hanna and Aaron on their win and I can't wait for the next series. Keiran obviously threw Wilf under the bus "parting gift". What a series and well done Claudia!
How was he great? his only achievement was being the biggest liar, this takes no skill, sociapaths can do this easily which he clearly is. In future games his conduct will be known as a right idiots way to play being a traitor, the best way is to not encourage others to mistrust others, and to keep your traitors supported all the way through,. So glad Wilf got what he desreved NOTHING. Keiran was brilliant stabbing wilf in the back, perfect KARMA!! wilf didnt deserve a penny. Hopefully this will be done to all those traitors who act like Wilf who stab their traitors.. What did wilf think that he could stab all his traitors and none would say anything.. WILF IS A RIGHT MUG!!
They should thank Kieran for placing that strong doubt in their minds about Will, had he not done that, they would have sailed through to the final with Will, and Will being a Traitor would have won ALL the money and they would have had nothing, Keiran's actions guaranteed they would each win some money, provided they voted Will out..l say well played Keiran.
Massive respect to Kieran for perfectly planting the seed of doubt. Will was a massive snake and nothing made me happier than to see him go home penniless
He was not a snake at all. He didn't choose to be a traitor, he played the role given to him and he was never a villain like some traitors (Sam Australia) he played such a good game and what a gracious speech when finally being outed. It is a game, a game they all knew the rules of before going on.
I NEVER expected Hannah to vote for another banishment, even after Kieran put doubt in her mind. Aaron also, I didn't think that he had it in him. That was honestly the best TV show that I've seen in a long time!!! Kieran, you are a legend!!!!!!!!
Are you JOKING?! You never expected her to vote for another banishment… even with all those looks on her face?! I knew she’d do it. Too much hesitation and concern on her face. Even the cameras shifted and heavily focused on her 😂
@@rickysfilmreviews3825 I saw yes, but after previous episodes where she shouted at people who even dared to second guess Wilf, and how hard she was backing him as a faithful, I believed that she would do a Meryl and vote to end the game.
Here’s what I noticed about Hannah: She is loyal to a fault and will stick by the people she cares about as well as stand by her beliefs. However, Hannah also isn’t naive. If she notices or catches onto a suspicious comment or anything deemed a red flag, she will not ignore it. She will investigate and get to the bottom of it. Kieran’s comments towards Will, Amanda turning on Theo after calling him her “100% trust”, Hannah caught those. She has missed a few, but when she sees, she acts.
Statistically the faithful had a better chance if they voted to continue the game. Why would the producers let the show continue unless there was more than one traitor after Maddy was voted off otherwise?
Never heard of Traitors and i binge watched it in 2 days. Very very nice show. Claudia has been an amazing host and the candidates have been amazing. I cant wait for Season 2.
The American version is well worth a watch. The contestants were all previous winners of US reality shows so as you can imagine there were some "lively" characters in it. One contestant played it very oddly. I thoroughly recommend it. 😀
Meryl was terrible - she didn't deserve a penny. She made incorrect decisions from beginning to end and, I'm sorry to say it, but her dwarfism is the only reason no one voted to banish her. The same as no one voted to banish Andrea because of her age. I personally don't think Aaron deserved the win much either, but Meryl... useless and lucky.
Will, faking that he was happy for them at the end. He was looking forward to taking all that money for himself and would have laughed in their face if he won. That's my take!
Totally agree. He only cried because the overall emotions of everything that was happening - plus the fact he’d lost the money. His reaction went from “I’m gonna take that money from everyone, screw them over” - to - “I’m so happy for you all, it makes me happy to see you win that money” - was the most 2-faced, twisted thing ever 😂
"If you vote me out, I'm not talking to you again" was so utterly cold. If I honestly ever met anyone who switched on me like that in real life I'd run a mile. And then he'll act like he never said that and it was all kist part of the game. Urgh
Absolutely, surprised they included it tbh. Wilfs villain arc of being so loved and trusted to killing so many of his closest friends and being so visibly desperate to win and then falling so spectacularly at the last moment is peak tv.
@@orange9107 So what if he wanted the money, they ALL wanted the money, that’s why they were all there and was the aim of the game. Whether you were chosen to be a traitor or a faithful the aim of the game was to get to the final and win the money. You’re going on as though Wilf somehow snuck into the game and cheated. He played it amazingly well as he should… he didn’t win in the end but he kept people in who he had bonded with and actually liked as people 🤷🏻♀️
Kieron was the most emotional player, his words to Will at the end sealed Wills fate. So happy for Hannah Meryl and Arron to have won! Hope the rest of the team remain friends its been a brilliant game show. 👍👍💃💃💃💃💃💃😀😀
Wilf's greed got to him in the end. He could have dealt with Kieran so much better than simply throwing him under the bus. He was going to get voted out anyway, he didn't need to twist the knife.
but also the first doubts that Kieran had about Will was when Maddy said that somebody (I think Meryl or Hannah) and Will said his name even though Will protected him and tried to bat away the accusations and he did not even questioned it and from that moment he did not trust him and than Will was like I did not say his name what is he talking about I cannot trust him. Quite genious from Maddy even though I think it was an accident and it was not intentional but this was definitely the beginning of all doubts they had between two of them. But because we do not see everything I cannot say this was definitely it but it seemed to from what we could seen this was start of his downfall.
Keiran played a blinder, he cost Wilf £100,000 because he wanted all the money to himself. Wilf threw 3 fellow traitors under the bus, but the 3rd one had a plan which worked perfectly.
@@bladerisq3352 how was Kieran smart he got played like a fiddle, didn’t win everything and his only achievement was giving the game away out of spite?
@@harveyholmes9533 true and it only really worked because it's the final if there were other members Will could've deflected the accusations unto someone else.

I totally agree with you, Rowan. Its a game and Wilf played it superbly, until Kieran shamelessly gave the whole thing away. Loved Hannah, detested Maddie
@Chris Wings It it was announced pretty much as soon as it happened. Then again, one law unto us mere mortals, another law for worthless celebrities including so called royal so called family....
I am somewhat surprised we did not have any reaction of those banished or murdered seeing the reveal of who traitors are. Obvioulsy it would have existed outside of the format of the show, but still would have been good
Probably didn’t have the budget for it as they didn’t realise how popular the show would be! I reckon given how well it’s done with the ratings, the best season will probably have an after show interviewing the banished 🤞🏼
While Kieran did try for the money himself, he did do them all a hero act with his "parting gift". Where as Wilf claims he wanted them to win, after pleading solid for hours that he was a faithful.
Erm you do realise that is the aim of the game right? Every single one of the contestants was there to get to the final and win the money, whether they be traitors or faithfuls. The traitors actually have a tougher job and Wilf played brilliantly. What was he meant to do, just give up trying towards the end and every time they accused him stop defending himself? Why did the others deserve the money more than Wilf? They were all their for the money, every single one of them lol
1:30 Yeeees! At that point she finally grasped that wil was the traitor. So happy Aaron figured it out too Thank you BBC for producing this show. It’d be great if the Traitor shows from Oz Us and Holland are shown on iplayer 🤞🏻
He's actually only "pitter patter shook" a few seeds of doubt to others, that's all he's done. It must be very clearly stated he hasn't broken any rules! It was still up to remaining faithfuls to believe keiran or not. It was faithfuls themselves who sussed out wilf in the end because of his ridiculous over the top and rather pathetic reactions, and well done to them.
Take a good listen to the Oath they made on TV. Seen both the original Dutch Traitors series and the Australian one and it is against the rules for a traitor to out another openly or explicitly. Which is what Kieran did, suggesting there was another traitor and very clearly indicating it was Will, with his 'parting gift'. This has never happened in any precious series and it's actually threatened with high fines in those series. Same for competitors in popular shows not being allowed to reveal beforehand if or when they've gone out. No idea why the BBC strayed on this one rule.
And he never flat out said "Wilf is the traitor" or anything close to that. Wilf handled it terribly and put the nail in his own coffin after Kieran left.
He never said wilf was a traitor rather heavily suggested it. What he did was no different to what wilf did to alyssa and Amanda technically. Had he said "I'm a traitor but so is wilfred" then yes that's cheating. But he tread on that very fine line between saying it and just suggesting it. Wilf could have avoided kieron taking him down with him had he just stuck to the plan of not betraying eachother and going for meryl but he had to be greedy and try and get the money for himself. Besides that it was a bad move by wilf as they would have not ended the game and gone for kieron if they voted for meryl. Then he would have gone home with 100k
Every now and again some-one in a TV execs office strikes gold and delivers, without a doubt, the most perfect piece of television; and this series is it. This series goes up there along with the likes of Big Brother as one of the perfect formats.. it is the perfect version of what it is trying to be with the best cast you could have asked for. It delivered constantly and relentlessly throughout - even down to the ending where despite Wilf having deceived every-one and could quite easily be portrayed every-where as scum of the Earth, is still some-how wholesome and genuine at heart. It was a game and every-one understood that. Season 1 is going to be a hard act to follow because just like Big Brother, it is a won-and-done affair.. you can't replicate the feels of the first season..
@@Nushka23 Nobody voted for Merrill for PC reasons but she was a crap contestant and just followed everybody else. She didn't deserve the money and would have saved Wilf. Hannah trusted Wilf all the way through and only Kieran swayed her at the end so hardly a great player. Only Aaron talked sense.

@@theinconvenienttruth9260 you're right, I don't know who he could've chosen at that point though. BBC: please put in the terms that Traitors must never under any circumstances reveal another Traitor, like Kieran did with Will. All because he got outplayed and outsmarted and was butt-hurt over it. His pointed looks at Will, nominating him with the words 'a parting gift' gave the game away. Will played his cards right and should have won. He was kicked out not because he made any mistakes, it was because another Traitor, knowing he's about to go, adopted the 'if I'm not winning, no one will' mentality. Please learn from that.
I respectfully disagree with this. Amanda carried Wilf most of the way. She was the better traitor. Wilf threw her under the bus, and was a total snake. He messed up after by recruiting Kieran purely to use him. Kieran was understandably upset about that. He wasn't 'butt-hurt'. He had a sense of righteous indignation. He planted seeds. The faithful didn't immediately know. It was Wilf's actions afterwards that gave it away - giving Hannah an ultimatum. He sealed his own fate. Kieran was a hero, and I'm so glad the faithful won 😊

So you vote for me. I get voted out, I'm feeling butt hurt because I'm going home without a single penny and I'm right now not thinking rationally. I'm not capable of admitting I'm going home because I've screwed up, so I'm looking for others to blame. So I blame you. We were on team traitor and you stabbed me in the back by voting for me. So I stand up, tell everyone 'the Traitors are playing you and some people aren't what the seem to be' pausing for 5 seconds to give you a pointed stare then finish with 'I'm a traitor' and walk away. Now the suspicion is on you. You haven't done anything wrong, you haven't made any mistakes, you haven't been caught in a lie, you played the game brilliantly. Yet you will be going home now because everyone starts asking the question 'why would a traitor give you - and only you - a pointed stare'? Would that be fair?
Putting Hannah third and directly in front of Will was such an excellent choice from production. Also I know everyone’s talking about the “parting gift”. But I think what gave Will away to Hannah especially is his reaction after the round table and how he was acting.
I'm glad the faithful won, Aaron deserved the money, he was the one who raised lot of money in the pot fund, he was very good with the tasks. Meryl just so lucky to tag along with the winners and got money, she wanted to end the game! Stupid!! Hannah also lucky to get a hint from Keiran otherwise she would trusts Will 100%, so stupid! Will is very slimy! At the final, I don't believe his single word! And Maddy knew that Will is the traitor but she couldn't convince anyone to vote him off. It's a shame she got banished before the final. I would prefer Maddy won than Meryl. Keiran done the right thing! Thanks Keiran!
Only Aaron deserved it from the 3, the other two literally contributed nothing to the show were honestly very naive and easy to manipulate, glad aaron pointed out meryl had no opinion at all and just followed the flow, I really wanted Will to win, yes he backstabbed but this show is called the traitor its a game and he played it well to the end and stuck to the game motto, he really needed it for his family and his project shame
Tbf, Hannah wasn't exactly brain of Britain either. Wilf never picked her as his 100% faithful and she still forgave him and said she'd bet her life that he was a faithful. I just re-watched this whole series for the second time 🤭 It's still my favourite of all the series worldwide. Mostly because of the ending. Well done Kieran - the ultimate poetic justice 👏 I'm going to be a bit controversial, and go against the crowd here, but I actually don't think Will was the best traitor. I think Amanda and Alyssa were both better. He had heat on him first. They saved him loads. On the ep where they had to put 3 people on trial, he wanted to put himself up; and they correctly pointed out that it'd make him more of a suspect. If he'd gone ahead, he'd have been out the next banishment I reckon. A & A were more strategic players. He threw them both under the bus, and was a snake. Glad the goodies won 😊
I cheered when they banished Will , how he pulled that off Ill never know , he looked guilty as F every time someone left , Hannah protected him all the way to the end becasue she was blinded by him , so glad she saw through him at the end and please Kieron threw them a lifeline, The switch in Will when he knew he had lost was incredible , he was trying to save face with that little performance at the end , he screwed over so many people , just desserts
He did exactly as he should have done being a traitor and he put more work and effort in than any of the very very lucky 'winners' If it hadn't been for sulky Keiran basically saying 'It's Wilf' he would have been a deserving winner
I Mark Johnson What to apologise to all on here for being a spoilt brat. And I Mark Johnson what to speak the truth about Wilfred. Wilfred is a coward and he ruined it for all.
Harrison King Thicko, Wilfred ruined the game for being a weak and coward person he is. He, Wilfred got what he deserved in the end. (It would have been much better had Wilfred) gone out early in the show. Harrison King Would have been funny if Wilfred had thrown you under the bus. But of course thicko Harrison King you wouldn’t like that, and too much of a coward to state that.
I Harrison King Want to speak the truth. Wilfred your a coward person who played the game very very poor. Wilfred should have gone out much much early in the game. Would have made it 10 times better then
Erm no. Incredibly lucky until almost the last moment of the game. And the guy seriously must have misunderstood the rules, his job was to take out the faithfuls not the traitors! I hope in the next series, they make it a rule that you can't ever vote for a fellow traitor if you are one. Otherwise what is the point?!
Because he threw his fellow traitors under the Bus, got greedy and shot himself in the foot, showing his true, greedy, selfish colours. Like I say, GOOD THAT HE LOST! The best people won...😑💷💸💷👏👏
@@1wongatonga I admit I didn’t watch all of it but they just aired the series on BBC so it might be on I player, I saw a few eps here and there. It’s not bad, but I think they copied a lot of the format from the UK version, including the location and challenges. The only difference being the contestants and the host. So I’m not sure if it’s worth watching tbh, but the finale was interesting…😂
He wants to put a deposit down on a house for his mum.. …he’s a PROPERTY AGENT. Could probably already get a MASSIVE discount and even bypass a deposit. 😂
Watching Wilf swear on their lives that he was a faithful, how low would he go for money?! He was furious when he knew that his game was up, but even at the end he did some fine acting about being happy that they'd won. Honestly one of the most greedy and selfish people I've ever seen on the TV. If he wasn't so greedy, he could have halved the money with Kieran. Now look, he's going away with nothing. Maybe Hannah will lend him a tenner for a hairbrush before his wedding. Kieran, you made the final golden!
Wilfs timing to get rid of Alyssa and Amanda was impeccable, he was an amazing traitor but he went one step too far with Kieran. They were both easily the strongest players and would have definitely won if they had just stuck together. He got greedy in the end...
This show should be called survival of the dumbest. The strongest players are killed off. Those without a clue remain. In this case they were so stupid that if it had not been for Keiran they would have remained unsuspecting to the end. In fact they are so stupid that they thanked Will for keeping them in. Will kept them in because they were stupid and that gave him the biggest chance of winning. They should be thanking keiran. I don’t think I will watch next series.
I just spent the whole day watching this (US VIEWER) it’s so different the the US installment, everyone here is playing with their hearts, compared to US where’s everyone is used to competition and doesn’t take it all seriously. That being said Aaron is one of the Faithfuls that truly deserved to win, from the beginning he was targeted, and took so much abuse from the whole team, watching it till the end, I was so happy he won! Truly deserved
Loved the show. But the ending was flawed. If it was only Will by himself going into the final and they were allowed to keep voting people out until they felt like they had got the traitors out, then couldn’t they have just kept voting until they found the traitor? The person voted out had to reveal whether they were a traitor or not, so they could have just kept going until they found them.
You’re spot on. Literally just asked why the producers allowed Kieran to tell the others it was Will. Let’s face it what he did made it blatantly obvious that Will was the traitor and so unfairly too.
@@Seanc74 yeah I agree. The final was basically decided on how much the producers let Kieran say at the end. That whole bit will definitely need to be ironed out if they do a second season
@@phoenixrose1192 granted. A “can I convince people it’s Kieran” from a pretending to be guessing point of view is way different IMO. Kieran was allowed to say “it’s Will”
Here's how I would have played it if I were in Kieran's position: At the last round table telling everyone the following: the reason nobody was murdered the night before was that the trailer had the option to seduce someone. Kieran was the one, but he declined. After that he watched his fellow players for the whole day and Will wasn't able to look him in the eyes anymore. Kieran confronted him and Will lost it. That was the reason there was this huge tension between them. The story would have made perfect sense and for Kieran might have ended as it did in reality (worst case), but in the best case the others would have trusted his story and did not vote him out in the end. I'm a bit sad that he did not try that... it would have been so interesting to see the reactions of the other players, especially Will!
Because of Keiron I think it was anticlimactic. Its, called traitors not snitchers. Amanda or Alyssa could have thrown the same hissy fit to point at Wilf but they kept the secret. Virtuous keiron made the decision for the remaining faithful, wow what a cop out. If they don't fix this in the next series I'll definitely kick it to the curb and say great concept but falls at the final hurdle. A shame coz I loved it before Mr Perfect came along.
@Chris Wings It No it ended the subterfuge of the Traitors and sent it to folly land. If K couldn't play within the point of the program he should have gone to love Island instead. He should have played Wilf in to the corner as a traitor not a sap. It turned in to a jelly fest.
Erm no I expect the format to be standardised start to finish. The BBC version has a gaping loophole that Keiron has been through and will keep happening unless closed in the rules.
I hate how meryl and hannah spent the entire season denying maddy and telling her wilf was a faithful but when kieran says "parting gift" suddenly it all changes
I think the "parting gift" comment was a dead giveaway (except to Meryl) but yeah, it was so infuriating how dismissive everybody was about Maddy's suspicion of Wilf.
Did Hannah have a "thing" for Wilf? They seemed so chummy and holding hands a lot. Something funny about those 2. PS Wilf wasn't married but was in a relationship with 2 kids. JMO
Ultimately it was Wilfs GREED that killed him off. His second biggest mistake was recruiting Kieran. Kieran was a smart guy, and this is not what Wilf should have had by his side. Kieran now knew it was Wilf that threw the other 2 traitors under a bus, it was inevitable he would target Wilf, as not to became the next traitor victim (So he set a plan in motion) Meryl would have been a much better choice as traitor, because she was a sheep and was all about caring and feelings (just what was needed) They could have both murdered Kieran (Soon as), then turned everyone against Maddy at the next table, (which Wilf already achieved anyway) and then in the final, they could have outed Arron as a traitor, because Hannah was on their side to help them. (The 3 of them were a pact) Hannah was eating out of Wilfs hands, so would have been none the wiser that she was standing next to 2 traitors at the end. Wilf and Meryl would have won, and could have split the money and pocketed 50 grand each. BUT GREED was too strong for poor Wilf, and bad decisions was also part of his weak game plan, and Kieran dished out the ultimate betrayal, and handed him his own ass on a plate, and Wilf finally paid the price for his mistakes.. The true winner of that show was Kieran. as he made sure the money was distributed to more people (which was kind of him) My only beef was with Meryl, who glided her way though to the end, when all she did was moan about being under suspicion, turn on people for the pettiest of reasons. Maddy should have been in her place, or Andrea. It was a hard pill to take, Also Arron was not as dumb as he made out, I knew he would make it to the final
"You're a massive dickhead but I love you so much!"
That literally sums up the entire show. 🤣
dont think the ending will be like that this time tho 🤣
“A parting gift” might be my new favorite revenge quote ⚔️
@King J …… hi Meryl!

Meryl was utterly useless the entire show, Kieran made the ultimate sacrifice, what a ‘parting gift’ it was, loved this show!

John was utterly ridiculous. So glad they disposed of him and so happy for Aaron!
John was jealous of how handsome he is.

They all had their own reasons for wanting the money.
I think you’re all forgetting this is a game, they were all there with the aim of getting to the final and winning the money. No one deserves the money more than the next person whether they were a a traitor or a faithful. If a traitor was to win the money, I’d say it would be fully deserved as it must be so hard keeping up the lie every day for 2 weeks! Will played it brilliantly!

@@joelk2575 I thought the same thing hannah could influence the group in their favour. Kieran was already suspicious.
I can never decide if Meryl played the perfect game or was just the luckiest person on Earth.
She was lucky, nice girl but didn't contribute anything really at the table. Just followed the pack.
she was beyond a sheep just followed her way to the end of thebgame
incredibly lucky she didn’t have a clue

I saw yes, but after previous episodes where she shouted at people who even dared to second guess Wilf, and how hard she was backing him as a faithful, I believed that she would do a Meryl and vote to end the game.

It's a GREAT show. I just Binge watched all of them on Peacock. Please keep it going.
An actually good reality show on UK TV?? Impossible!
Wasn't our concept though
What?!
Literally every famous reality tv show is England, it’s one of many things we’re known for
I think this is the only reality show on tv that makes backstabbing legit.
@@NotAgnor sorry to inform you that nearly every reality gameshow concept originates from scandinavian and asian countries. Including this one.
@@moodmusicytc yes, it’s Dutch, derivative of the Werewolf game.
This was such a wholesome ending. Loved it.

Thank you BBC for producing this show. It’d be great if the Traitor shows from Oz Us and Holland are shown on iplayer 🤞🏻
Absolutely brilliant! Loved every minute of it. 👏🏻😉
Keiran won the game for the faithfuls! A worthy sacrifice
Kieran
What a cool true legend he is
Love Kieran for what he did, truely hero
He's actually only "pitter patter shook" a few seeds of doubt to others, that's all he's done. It must be very clearly stated he hasn't broken any rules!
It was still up to remaining faithfuls to believe keiran or not.
It was faithfuls themselves who sussed out wilf in the end because of his ridiculous over the top and rather pathetic reactions, and well done to them.
To those that say Kieran cheated... He didn't. It's up to the faithfuls to believe him or not
Take a good listen to the Oath they made on TV.
Ikr like he did the same that will did
@@wellhello6618 lead to really good TV to be honest, happy he did that! Also, side note, which out of the 3 other series do you recommend?
Every now and again some-one in a TV execs office strikes gold and delivers, without a doubt, the most perfect piece of television; and this series is it. This series goes up there along with the likes of Big Brother as one of the perfect formats.. it is the perfect version of what it is trying to be with the best cast you could have asked for. It delivered constantly and relentlessly throughout - even down to the ending where despite Wilf having deceived every-one and could quite easily be portrayed every-where as scum of the Earth, is still some-how wholesome and genuine at heart. It was a game and every-one understood that. Season 1 is going to be a hard act to follow because just like Big Brother, it is a won-and-done affair.. you can't replicate the feels of the first season..
so so happy they got him!!!!

Wilf CROCODILE TEARS ....He's lying .....I'm glad he lost
I disagree. All the way through he’s been torn, watch the diary videos his levels of cognitive dissonance are staggering, lying to himself to self preserve. Yes he was a snake, that’s what made it so compelling, but he’s not rotten to the core. He was a wonderful insight into the human condition, both the bad and in the end redeemed by his friends, oddly by being caught by them! I think he was simultaneously gutted he lost and relieved he didn’t win all that money by doing what he did.
Either way he will make a lot of money out of this, everyone loves a good Villain 😈
@Chris Wings It it’s not real life though, it’s a game. He’s not a serial killer. Yes it’s reality TV and there is money involved (though a lot of the losers will still make a lot of money now with all the publicity) but it’s a game built for entertainment and he entertained. Imagine how dull it would be if they all went yeah I can’t do this I’m just going to quit/out myself. I am glad he lost fighting to the bitter end because it made him such a good villain and that ending was soooo good because of that fact, and that makes me love him for playing that role and really getting into it. Bravo, a perfect end to a great game.

Meryl is the dumbest person I’ve ever seen . She voted to end the game whilst Wilf was still there .
Meryl was along for the ride and had no clue what was happening.
Yeah I thought the same I think she’s just too nice. I was so happy her and Hannah won they were my favourites! Will did not deserve to win he was really greedy but he played a really good game
Respect Kieron? He ruined the game. I would've either liked to see Wilf win OR for the remaining faithfuls to work it out for themselves not with a clue from a traitor.
@@kiriakoz the underlying problem is that Kieron didn’t trust Wilf at all , knowing that he’s already betrayed his two fellow traitors. So that was always in the back of his mind. In hindset , Kieron was the wrong person to choose to become a traitor because I think he preferred being a faithful and wanted the faithfuls to win.
@@theinconvenienttruth9260 you're right, I don't know who he could've chosen at that point though. He definitely needed someone as it's a lot easier to win just after a traitor has been voted out as people are more willing to end the game.
Obviously he made mistakes, even if it was the way he made Kieron feel. He probably needed to say and do less at that point and just vote for Kieron without him realising.
ultimately, it's very easy to judge though, I've never played a game like this for 100K and over many weeks. I can lie amongst my friends when we play Mafia, but that's for 30 minutes, not for a few weeks.
@@peacehope7365 so you argue that booted out traitors, realising they're getting no money, should be allowed to just take the other traitors down with them? That's one way to kill the game.
@@20catsRPG No. I don't think that's what happened. As explained above. He didn't take Wilf down. Wilf took himself down. Wilf did take Amanda down though, far more so. In my humble opinion anyway. What happened didn't kill the game. It was all the better for it. A really interesting and unexpected plot twist at the end. Of course, you're entitled to disagree...
@@peacehope7365 OK, imagine this scenario: You and me are the traitors. Somehow I do something stupid to draw attention to myself. People want to vote for me. You see which way the wind is blowing. You can tell I will be voted out which ever way you vote, you can't change it. But you know that if you try to defend me, and I'm revealed as a traitor, the suspicion will be on you.
A rare good one, credit when it is due!
Putting Hannah third and directly in front of Will was such an excellent choice from production. Also I know everyone’s talking about the “parting gift”. But I think what gave Will away to Hannah especially is his reaction after the round table and how he was acting.
Kieran was clever with his "parting" words.

I'm going to be a bit controversial, and go against the crowd here, but I actually don't think Will was the best traitor.

@@Seanc74 Didn’t Wilf stab Kieren in the back anyway?
@@phoenixrose1192 granted. A “can I convince people it’s Kieran” from a pretending to be guessing point of view is way different IMO. Kieran was allowed to say “it’s Will”
Here's how I would have played it if I were in Kieran's position:
At the last round table telling everyone the following: the reason nobody was murdered the night before was that the trailer had the option to seduce someone.
@Chris Wings It you're just fishing for a reason to start insulting me.
I hate how meryl and hannah spent the entire season denying maddy and telling her wilf was a faithful but when kieran says "parting gift" suddenly it all changes
I think the "parting gift" comment was a dead giveaway (except to Meryl) but yeah, it was so infuriating how dismissive everybody was about Maddy's suspicion of Wilf.

see i loved the entire thing, but i thought so scientifically about the colour of the fire 😀😭
Ultimately it was Wilfs GREED that killed him off. His second biggest mistake was recruiting Kieran. Kieran was a smart guy, and this is not what Wilf should have had by his side. Kieran now knew it was Wilf that threw the other 2 traitors under a bus, it was inevitable he would target Wilf, as not to became the next traitor victim (So he set a plan in motion)
Meryl would have been a much better choice as traitor, because she was a sheep and was all about caring and feelings (just what was needed) They could have both murdered Kieran (Soon as), then turned everyone against Maddy at the next table, (which Wilf already achieved anyway) and then in the final, they could have outed Arron as a traitor, because Hannah was on their side to help them. (The 3 of them were a pact)
Hannah was eating out of Wilfs hands, so would have been none the wiser that she was standing next to 2 traitors at the end. The true winner of that show was Kieran. as he made sure the money was distributed to more people (which was kind of him)
My only beef was with Meryl, who glided her way though to the end, when all she did was moan about being under suspicion, turn on people for the pettiest of reasons. Maddy should have been in her place, or Andrea. It was a hard pill to take, Also Arron was not as dumb as he made out, I knew he would make it to the final
