Yes even though we took the longer route from tokyo to hakone, we managed to do most, if not, all of the touristy things in Hakone. But if you want to make the most of a private onsen experience, two nights is good!

When you're in Japan, calorie count or what you eat doesnt matter so you can keep going all day!! Nearly everyone I know who has visited do 25k steps a day lol
