Thanks for always bringing us the latest and greatest in drone gear. Definitely trust your opinion when it comes to these must haves. The DJI 1000 was a game changer for me, now I need to buy this bag and gloves lol.
I would add that the power lights on the gloves could be problematic when using at night for astrophotography. A small piece of gaffer's tape solves that issue however it would be nice if they could be dimmed or turned off when in use.
Size up if you're buying these PGYTech gloves. I normally wear medium/large and the medium was so tight. Gave it to my spouse which normally wears xs/small and fits perfect. Bought another XL and that one fits much better. The magnets on fingers don't stay for me. Keeps popping off. Same with the mitten flap. Battery slot was very snug when cable is attached. The heating works great. I was in -20C for hours and kept toasty warm.
I use a Think Tank Backlight 45L, it's perfect (almost), carries an immense amount of gear so I never have to leave anything at home, I just grab and go and it doubles as my hiking pack also, but this PGYTECH is a very thoughtful design.
I picked up the OneMo 2 35L in late 2023 and it is HEAVY when loaded. This would have been nice while running through the airports a few months ago. I also grabbed the heated gloves you featured last winter and finally had a need for them. I think I'm good for now, but I wouldn't mind flip-open fingers. The touch surface of my photo gloves and heated ones do not seem to work on my DJI RC.
@@51Drones Thank you, this is unfortunate as they have been out of stock for some time and they do not return emails. I was hoping it was another brand. Appreciate the time to answer this. If you know of another brand with similar qualities I would love to hear about them. Take care and stay warm.
I really like the concept of a mitten, glove, finger and thumb accessible, and heated design. It basically checks ALL the boxes all in a single glove. In your experience, are there any shortcomings or compromises in the use of these due to the multifaceted capability of them aside from mitten cover?
PGY Tech is amazing. Love their products. Thoughtfully designed, quality built. Been using their stuff for 4 years.

Looks like a great backpack Russ. Thank you for a very well detailed review!

@@TDizzle5408 Do you mean the FlytPath cases are out of stock?
I got the XL size, and it does help with the battery, but trying to put the mitten cover back on becomes a real challenge.

I could see that
Do you have a link for the fight path bags
@ In the description now.
I wish I would have seen this two weeks ago... dang it Russ. lol
Do the batteries for the gloves have a master power-on switch/button? (I have motorcycle gloves that dont, and they get turned on accidentally often.)
I use a Thinktank 36L
Big!
@@51Drones It is but still fits in the overhead. It can carry more than my back is comfortable with lol.
Oh no with that giant suitcase handle it doesn’t fit a lot of bag that has luggage pass through
Ya, that’s one negative too.
Russell, this is life changing. Can you send me a sample of this product?
Sure. Idaho, right?
