@@pretentiousname01 I know...and its really not the point of my channel, but I've been asked about it....also "boomstick" is a hilarious term that I will be adopting.
No. Since you are American and allowed to carry these items I would suggest to all women to carry them. It's the great equalizer. Big strong guy attacking a small woman and this 'boomstick' makes all the difference. I agree with Ted Nugent and I'm Dutch.
Okay serious how are your videos already this well edited with such good audio? Also good on ya for not being afraid to be honest about the concealed carry :)
@Hexsyn - Thank you for your encouraging and kind words. I have a producer who used to work in TV behind the scenes, who helps me with the technical stuff when we tape the show. Between the two of us, we try to produce polished content. I tip my hat to you for the second part of your comment ;)

Great video, as usual 😊 Seems like a simple and perfect edc to me! Every item is minimalist and efficient. Will speak to my wife about your choice of a man wallet instead of a big and bulky purse 😁 And I totally support your choice to carry a boomstick (I adopt this word as well 😂). Here in Europe, my boomsticks are in a safe and I can only take them to the range and back in a manner that they can’t be used instantaneously (disassembled, or at least empty magazines on a side and the boomstick on the other). On keychain edc: I added a little aluminum case to my keychain, with the little Victorinox screwdriver for glasses, a safety pin, 4-5 mini magnets and a regular pin. Very useful when you carry only Alox models like me.
Thanks for commenting and sharing! I know Europe is more regulated with their broomsticks (this word cracks me up every time), but it's neat to see some enthusiasts from all around the world. I like your additions to your keychain! Sometimes, I attach a little travel container with Ibruprofen or Tylenol, but that's usually when I'll be out doing outdoor activities or traveling. I like that you have a mini-glasses repair kit. I'll suggest to my dad to adopt the same!
No need for a flashlight during the day? If you are indoors, imagine what you would see if the power went out, in many places we are now dependent on artificial light.
@rolf2721 - You make an excellent point. I didn't even think about that; where I'm from, severe weather takes out the power occasionally, so my little flashlight would be great for those times.
@@ElegantlyEDC I was working in the basement of a department store and the power went out. It wasn't dark but black, with no idea what was going on upstairs, priority one was to get out of there.
I find what you carry refreshing and simple. It's basically what I carry except the pepper spray. With your firearm it's what you feel comfortable with and personal decision. I love revolvers also. I have better control. Mine's a Taurus
Excellent EDC choices, I support your right to carry a firearm. I am an AZ resident and also go well armed when appropriate. By most knife nut standards you travel light. I need to get an EDC pen torch. God Bless
@Wcquick - I tip my hat to you; thank you. By the time I've got all the other items in my pockets, I don't have enough room for a knife. I plan to talk about knives a little bit more when I discuss my adventure packs in the future; where I have some bag space for knives.
I share you're theory in different outings, call for different edc items. My monday through friday Edc is a lot of tools. I like carrying smaller. I work at a hospital and I'm in the engineering department. I fix everything from equipment to the building. 70% of the time what I carry in my fanny pack is enough to do the work. I don't carry a lot in it either. I appreciate your videos. To see what you as the opposite sex carries.
@demonnixloudandproud9335 - For sure! My different kits have a variety of tools, some more than others. But my day-to-day stuff is usually light. Thanks for commenting! I appreciate it!
@ElegantlyEDC on my days off I carry my phone, law man cold steel, and my wallet. Fire arm is always the spring field armory Hellcat. Your video made me ask my female friends what they carry. I'm excited to see the answers.
@ElegantlyEDC I was a LEO for over 30 years. I carry a 642 when I walk for exercise. There are snakes, and the first two chambers are snake shot. I'm going to look for the lipstick Sabre OC spray for my wife. Never saw that particular product before with the dye.
@ Yeah-the pepper spray is great for discreet carry. I have friends who used to carry the Lipstick Pepper Spray to their night classes when in college; no one noticed what it actually was!
I respect that you don't want to do self defense videos, but the views def will be there. Strong recommendation because i def feel like you are one of the very few if any, female youtubers that are making this quality content. I think going to shot show and reviewing products would be genius. The channel name is "Best Damn EDC" who is a male content creator taking a similar professional approach to edc videos. You're doing great. p.s people that like edc tend to like guns as well :)
@DrBackseat - Thank you; I appreciate your kind words about my little channel. I sincerely do. If the door opens towards becoming a self-defense channel, I'm open to the possibility, but I feel much more comfortable talking about EDC gear. But thank you all the same!
P.S. shows like Best Damn EDC and John Gadget were my inspiration to start this channel in the first place :) To be mentioned in the same breath as them is a huge compliment!
You think you don't need a flashlight during the day, but if there is an power-failure at a shopping centre, it can be pitch black and you never know when the emergency power will kick in. In fact, one shopping centre I used to frequent had an electrical fire. Everyone got out safely. Here is a tip... that whole morning they had been testing the fire alarms. That afternoon, when the electrical fire happened, some of the people thought the alarm was another test. Never think that, because in this situation, it wasn't, just an amazing co-incidence.
@lilsprugga - You make a great point; another commenter said something similar. I didn't even think about that; where I'm from, severe weather takes out the power occasionally, so my little flashlight would be great for those times.
Did any of my pocket carry items surprise you? Let me know in the comments below!
Just be a bit careful with the boomstick, as I know some social media can hide it from people seeing it

@SunniNomad - Thank you! Growing up, I watched a lot of John Wayne westerns...my personal choice to use a revolver reflects that ha ha.
@ElegantlyEDC I like to pretend I'm Annie Oakley lol. Love John Wayne movies. My uncle was obsessed and probably seen them all more than once
@ Ha ha - that's awesome! My great gandfather and I watched them all as well. His favorite was "The Cowboys"; so we rewatched that one a lot.

Such an elegant young lady, doing a great job with your videos. Love your edc, would add a small tail clickie flashlight and a small folder. Be well.
