It’s such a good series but edited in a very bad way. The shots go by so fast, no breaks given between the speakers. Atleast, there should have been a 2-3 second break in between, atleast. Also, I had to rewind and go back to the start two times because it just didn’t feel like a start. I thought I started a second or a third episode or I started from the middle. The names of the speakers are also a miss. Here’s hoping further episodes are better edited. The trailer was so good! But the series doesn’t hold attention for me at all and that is only because of the edit. Great work, TCM :)

It's not a bottomless pit. Sooner or later we'll bounce. In today's digital era, you can't keep it hidden forever. The system will flush everyone out. It may take 10-15-20 years but we'll get there.
No matter how bad the situation gets the army or any institution has no right to dictate to an elected official what they should do.

We have had more military coups than most contemporary nations on the planet. Last two years of turmoil is also due to a quasi martial law. So I will support a martial law if its better for my country attitude is at best foolish and at worst treacherous. The generals of this army are criminal and just about as corrupt as any in Pakistan. So this nonsense "if its best for my country" is laughable and deeply saddening at the same time.
Pakistan cannot move forward because of the high ambitions of Pakistan Army officers. This is not only a problem for Pakistan but also for many Muslim majority countries like Egypt, Algeria, Bangladesh etc.

I left in 1979 for USA. I am glad I did . I am very happy . General Zia not only lied about held elections within six month . He never meant what he said . General Zia destroyed Pakistani schools . My school st Anthony in Lahore was destroyed by making those English people leave Pakistan. Where general Pervez did same , his own children studied outside Pakistan. Now economy is so bad that country of Pakistan can’t take more destruction of economy by army . Army does not know how to run country . This is most well documented study I have ever seen. However, being IK supporter i just wanted to say try to show all the main events happened in martial laws govements. Then we gonna realise what we have lost and in democratic government what we gonna achieve.
IK is only leader who showed the reality of autocratic government and the ones who is governing almost most than 35 years. He told us we are not slaves. This is the only point i am with him more than 20 years.

It’s such a good series but edited in a very bad way. The shots go by so fast, no breaks given between the speakers. Atleast, there should have been a 2-3 second break in between, atleast.
Also, I had to rewind and go back to the start two times because it just didn’t feel like a start. I thought I started a second or a third episode or I started from the middle. The names of the speakers are also a miss. Here’s hoping further episodes are better edited.
The trailer was so good! But the series doesn’t hold attention for me at all and that is only because of the edit.
