This video is about BMW I3 Hidden features Part 5. Covers Hospitality charging feature, welcome and pathway lighting settings, and TPMS resetting to higher pressures.
A "hidden feature" for me that I discovered AFTER I purchased my i3 - the base trim level (Deka World/Atelier) vehicles do NOT come equipped with interior ambient lighting, the signature blue overhead light when unlocking, individual map lights, illuminated visor mirrors, and door handle lights! More like "Dark World" trim level!
Funny! Yep, Ive been looking at the availability of a 120ah model, but most that I have found on the used car market are the Deka World versions. I like of my Giga World configuration options, just wish I had a little bigger size battery!
I made it a few months back. There is a video on the channel that reviews the making of that port cover & the files, plus other helpful topics. Regards.
I didn't understand "Hospitality ch. feat". Is it default state - unlocking the plug after battery is charged or there is a command with the remote doing that?
After car is charged, it will automatically unlock the the charging port, so others can use the charger. I hope that is more clear, and thanks for watching!
I think the Deka/Mega World packages may not have that feature included. May be related to comfort access package. You can also use bimmercode to check if the feature is enabled (assuming wiring is present). Good luck!
These guides are great for a new owner, thanks for creating them.
Glad you think so! Thanks for the feedback.

Please make a video about the keyless entry.
I try to put my hand on the door handle and it keeps locking the door
Will do. Thanks for the feedback!
Nice video! What are those charge port covers you got in the door there? Where can you get them?

Can you send us a link to the making of this cover please?

I know my handles have lights, but they never turn on. I wonder if mine doesn't have that feature. Mine is a 2018 BMW i3 rex

Moment when I read the instruction manual )))
So true! Even so, there's a bunch of things I missed after the first read through. Thanks for watching!
