I am new to golf. But I've been a machinist since 1989. I now own my own machine shop with state of the art cnc machines. Multitasking machines. And I know what it takes to make those clubs. And the price for them is very competitive. I charge $120 per hour for my machine time. And time is money so you have to knock them out fast to make money. Nice product.
What at great putter lesson. Turns out my Ping Anser is 2 inches too long for me. Thanks Scotty
Thank you so much for your excellent putters! You’re absolutely the best! Huge respect from Russia 🇷🇺
Your best video yet. Really good.
Amazing video, critical information
Glad it was helpful!
Loving my 36.25” Scotty - stroke is much more fluid and relaxed
Must be difficult carrying your clubs down the beanstalk every time you play.
If ur actually not trolling because some people are that stupid its hard to tell if people are joking the only time you need a 36 inch putter is if ur taller than 7 feet.
@@deanloveridge2534 haha
He'll probably tell us he's 5'9 and it's actually the correct length for him...bozo
36 isn’t crazy talk. I play 36 snd im 6ft3 barefoot. So probably add an inch for spikes. If you’re long legged , a short putter causes way too much hip bend.
I have had 2 major back surgery’s and 36 even at my height of 6 foot is perfect for me. Allows me to be more upright and take tension off my back.
Love my putter! Am hearing a lot these days about forward press with your hands. Seems like doing so de-lofts the putter...? But maybe you also want to keep your hands in front of the ball? Would love to hear your input!
depends on the putter head
We all know the effects of toe up or heel up, what is proper length of putter?
I suppose the answer is if you can setup correctly and hold the putter sitting right (flush with ground) then its the correct length. If you are setup correctly and the putter is toe up your putter is too long. If you setup correctly and toe is down your putter is too short.
Very useful info, glad to see these more frequent videos. Can you explain why the weight inserts are different from one length to the next. I have 35” putters and would like to try heavier weight than the stock 10g ones. Just curious why weights decrease as length increases. Best putters by far 👍🏼
Because the longer the putter, the heavier the swing weight
If you watch this closely - at the end - the wording about too flat and too upright is contradictory from what Scotty shows at the 2:08 mark - guessing this made it to production without him realizing it.
Why the music?
God knows how Seve and Stricker managed to hole so many.
what the hell is a "CD"?
Haha.
What would you recommend for a guy 6’1
34 inch or 34.5 would be good. It depends on the distance between your hands when they are on the side of your body to the ground.
Arm distance from ground is a key
If your long legged it might be as much as 36.5. Loook at setup and see how much hip bend.
I’m 6’1 and I use a 33. I hover over for more control
