- Ben is joined by Steve Kitchin, our new Fully Charged New Forest Partner, to review the Desiknio X20 Gravel.
As a gravel specialist, Steve is best placed to talk through what we believe to be a masterpiece from Desiknio, with the New Forest being tailor made for gravel riding.
This electric bike is not only beautiful, but comes with the all new Mahle X20 system, which Desiknio also uses on its X20 Pinion Urban model. Coupled with best-in-class components, this is an electric bike well worth test-riding for yourself.
Feel free to book an appointment with Steve, speak to an eBike specialist online or come and visit us at any one of our stores across the UK as we now have these beautiful bikes in stock!

Great informative video, makes me want to be out on a ride in the New Forest right now!
thanks Sonia, come on down! Book in for a test ride...
thank you from truckee california
I live in a hilly area, so hub motor is a no-go for me. Mid-drive all the way for me.
Geared hubs are fine for most hiĺls.
$7320/6k£ in 2023. You are welcomed.
Hollly crap.. really?
This is my dreambike. I live out in north spanish mountains, weight 20 kg too much, and all the routes out here are loops between 100 - 200 km, with two to four long hard climbes. So I am turning around and going the same way back home after about 30 km. With this bike I can do it all and smile all the way. I would lose the 20 kg fast. But oh the price...😢.
One day. Maybe I can find a good second hand deal in a year or two.
we are swing the X35 model come in for part exchange for the X20 model now, but the X20 is so damn good not many people are going to want to part with them.
@@FullychargedUK Is the X20 a lot better than the X35?
@@FullychargedUKI spoke to the local bike dealer. He urged me to never buy hub engine. Only midengine he said. He invested in 50 electric double suspension mtb for rental business.
Hi Morten, The X20 is a more powerful, reliable and intuitive motor than the X35. Feel free to come and test one out!
@@Morten_Nielsen1979 Typically a mid drive motor is the best system for an emtb, trekking or a cargo bike and some urban eBikes. Although if you want ultra light weight and style this is not an option. This european manufacture, Desiknio has owned this category for urban or gravel lightweight using new technology like pinion gearboxes that sit in the mid drive crank section allowing belt drives with ultra light hub motors, the X20 from Major is leagues ahead of anything we have seen before. We have been doing this for well over 10 years and have a lot more experience than most bike shops that are now starting to become familiar with the basics of eBikes.

Combine this X-20 motor with the Pinion and you'll have a world beater
Well welcome the Desiknio X20 Pinion! Here it is: www.fullycharged.com/desiknio-x20-pinion-c-1-9/
(Henry here) - I can say personally that these are just beautiful bikes to ride, so much so i'm trading my X35 in to to get an X20!
@@FullychargedUK Thank you! Any chance for US distribution so we can get the 20 MPH version of the X20?
@@thekenthouse6428 yes there is a 20 and 25mph version with this motor that we can arrange to do for export. We have plenty of stock and can have a full speed one ready to ship in a couple of days!
240 amp hours battery is really small.
Promo sm 💯
No for 25 kph limiters!
you mean you want the bikes to unlimited? It’s really interesting conversation. What is your main 3 reasons?
@@FullychargedUKMany discussions about it you can read them on yt too
For me simply assistance limiter is unwanted feature.
If somebody needs assistance in road bike then it is over 25 kph not below exceot uphills.
25 kph is easy to achieve and then system continously tuning on off on off and it is frustrating and can be a damage reason. Poor engine and small range of baterries are enough of limitation.
I owe E MTB FS my 2018 derestricted worka till now and my friends has the same motor but restricted and he had engine changed and it is big cost.
Strangecthat bikes are seen as the most dangerous means of transport and must be restricted and moto bikes and cars are not restricted. It looks as bikes are predicted for monkeys not reasonabke people?
This motor can be unlimited and is capable of 25 mph from factory, but it is not supposed to be used in EU - it is designed for the US market also. (the same motor) unlike the x35 motor which they had 2 separate motors
@@FullychargedUK
My anawer vanished!
I repeat but in ahorter version.
1. Damage ruskie and disconfort caused continousky turn on turn off when 25 kph is achieved.
2. It has nothing to safety non electric road and gravel bikes exceed 25 kph easy sonetins 3 tines when downhill.
So who beeds heavy bike that is difficukt to ride over 25 kph? Only in the mountains for uphhills assistancecis useful but than limiter is not needed even 25 is diff8cult to achieve.
3. System is complicated so raises cost of manufacturing so prices must be higher and less raliable bike.
The mainn question Why e bikes are treated as the most dangerous mean of transport? Have you seen so stupid regulation for cars or moto bikes?
@@2JKO The problem is that doing detestriction you are illegal and pay additional money for this.
Considering this I prefer use tradtional bike I can go 40 kph legal.
The most funny is that going on e bike I will be słowem except uphills of coarse but what limiter does during uphill? Nothing - gravity is the limiter and during descending thecgravity is main power allowing to go even 70 kph.
So what for this limiter installed?
