Fiat 500 1.2 Service - Oil and Filters Change

Changing the oil, oil filter, air filter and cabin filters on my wife's Fiat 500. Should be an annual service or 9,000 miles but this has been at least 2 years.

Thanks - yes same here, you can save a fortune. It’s a bottle jack, not really ideal for this as only just managed to fit under but all I had at the time.

What size spark plug socket did you use was it a 16mm? Cheers

Hi, it’s there or there abouts. Actual size on my socket is imperial 5/8

Great video, thanks for sharing. Now feel a bit more confident about changing my daughter's oil over the next few days. Just wondering, did the sump plug have a washer/seal on it when you drained the oil?

Hi Tony - glad you found it helpful. Yes, there is a copper crush washer which you should replace rather than reuse.

Yes I should have done that and also the brake fluid ideally. Car was on about 34k miles.
