The Duster is a beast ...its a law unto itself in snow and mud ...my friend has the 2022 entry level model front wheel drive ....where we live there a long steep hill to get up into our street and last year we had quite heavy snowfall....nothing was making it up this hill all sorts of "all wheel drive" cars were sitting at the bottom of it not being able to move ..my friend 2 wheel drive Duster flew up this hill no problem ...amazing cars

I also just bought a new Duster Tce 1.3 150 PS 4x4. We have a lot of snow here, so I got the winter tires and the car dealership took the all-weather tires in as payment.

Купил 1,3 tce, пробег 10000, очень доволен. Летом расход - 7,5 , зимой на шипах - 8,6
А как с обслуживанием 1,33 ?
@@viking948 Пробег 10 тыс. Первое ТО у официалов - замена фильтра климата, воздушного, масляного и масло. Диагностика. Масло на выбор. Я предпочёл Taif Vivace. Рекомендовано официалами. Российского производства. Нижнекамское. 14 тыс руб.

@@viking948 полностью ТО 14 тыс руб. Масло на яндексмаркет и других продавцов стоит от 2000- 2500 руб за
4 литра. В мотор надо ~ 5,5 л. Фильтр масляный ~ 700 плюс шайба под сливную пробку. Фильтр оригинал. Масло рекомендовано официалами Рено, Мерседес, Фольксваген и тд. Решил поменять на 10000, не ждать 15000 по регламенту. Хочу проехать 3000, и ещё раз поменять и до 20000. У официалов дороже, но всё относительно. Ну и вроде обещают вести гарантию. Товарищ на дизеле проехал 30000, ТО делал в стороннем сервисе. Ещё поменял жижи в редукторах. Стружка есть, но не критично. Всего с расходными 13 тр

In my opinion GY vector 4 seasons is exellent tyres, i never have better, i ride in snow and on sand even on motocross trials, i don't need deferent tyres.

what these guys are not telling you is that the rear differential is very weak/crappy and will need a number of replacements if you off road every now and then e.g. snow or mud terrain. forewarned is forearmed. Have extra budget just for the rear diff !!
I only replaced my rear differential once, after I broke it.

I would go with the 1.5 dci.
@@DusterCoolTravelswhy? 1.5 dci being a diesel is not good I guess for such a cold environment. As diesel takes own time for reaching optimum temperature.
You have 4x4 a good start then you are let down by the wrong tyres and on these snow trails it's not very safe

In situatii normale da, dar in rampe lungi pe autostrada incarcat cu 3 persoane pierde din putere. Acum la noul model au scazut toate caracteristicile cu 20 de unitati, minus 1 cilindru la motor ... va fi destul de lenes in cazul amintit.

All Season Tires? You must be kidding me! I mean: All Season Tires are probably fine for areas, where you expect light snow and mild winterconditions. But for this amount of snow and even worse...Offroad? 😅

I hate the 17" wheels on my 2022 Duster, much less tire choices available and than in 16" size. Lower volume of timer makes it more picky for lowering air pressure too.
Indeed, guess the best option is to keep the standard setup for daily driving. Buy a tyre set for your adventures on some 16" steel rims, that's about €50/piece. The tyres too are much cheaper for 16"!
Is it possible to perform a rigorous tyre test with the Michelin Agilis Crossclimate mounted on the Duster?
I don't think so, it's hard to find it on a Duster, and I think they're expensive. I rather use a winter dedicated tires set then an all season one.
@@DusterCoolTravels okay, I'm looking for a good workhorse tyre set. We just ordered our duster tce 4x4 few weeks ago, and indeed it will be delivered with these Goodyear Vector tyres. For year round Belgian climate they're fine, but I'll need a all round workhorse tyre set in the future.

Really strange. I have used the same tires on fresh snow on The Duster 2023 4x4 (diesel). It lost grip a couple of time, but mostly did the job even on steep portions.
Yes, but I’m sure you didn’t stopped too much. The problem appears at the start. If the terrain was just a couple of degrees steep, the car lost grip very fast.
@@DusterCoolTravels That is true. I have mostly driven with a constant phase and stopped on flat locations. I will try to test starts in the weekend if I manage to still get some snow.

@@DusterCoolTravels It is normal to lose grip if the wheel speed is too high. I have the same model as the 1.3, I have to climb a 30 degree slope with similar snow and there are no problems chira if I stop in the middle. Maybe you forgot to turn off the ESP... remember that in your first videos you often forget to turn off the ESP. 1.3 vs 1.5 is a much better engine.
I don't understand why you have to turn OFF ESP on slippery surfaces like snow?@@valivalentin8963

Все здорово конечно. Но у нас в России сугробы раз в 5 больше , но тоже едет. Хотя горючки уходит больше !. Но эт не проблема. Горючки у нас заводись)) .К дому подъезжаем на этом авто сугроб по капот практически). Если что страхует нас УАЗ буханка..
