You are a legend. My last set my bass line metered 152 at 33hz. But this was an all round system. My baseline could not outplay my kids or high’s

Lol I won't even turn the radio on if there's no subwoofers in play.... eiiint... not happening. I have a decently compact parallel 6th order for a single 12 that is the backup bass. Have another with a Kicker L7 10 that I built in 05ish that still hammers higher bass notes too. Still going strong all these years later so don't talk smack about papa Kicker yo lol. Anyway point is... you always need to have backup. Shoot I'd run even a sealed rinky dink something before going without bass. I just cannot cannot do it and I'm a diehard music person just like I am basshead and I feel you do the music wrong without them low lows lol
I'm.a school bus driver and I certainly be missing good quality music and bass during the day. Can't wait to get in my car and take it for a ride down the road just for a little bass therapy!!!

Didn't have a sub in my car for the past year and a half and it was killing me. Finally saved up for a small setup and it makes me smile.
Best budget sub for the price is entry level Resilent sounds, American bass Elites, or If you get more money get my favorite entry-level kind of $199 American Bass XFL or the Soundqubed hds3.

Dude I know exactly about the bass itch you talked about. I recently had to gut my truck to lay down more sound deadener and build a false floor to mount everything to. That was such a hard few months 😅
ive been without bass for 3 fucking years now. im realizing that now. i used to have a 1990 cougar on 3k. car was breaking down bad and had to get rid of it. went and got a new 19 elantra woth the most god awful factory "system". its been so depressing but im trying my best to get something going for my new car. im out on my own now and its hard to save money now. and the other thing is im in an apartment because i cant afford a house atm so i have no garage or access to my power tools or a workspace to do anything. watching exo with his stuff and everything helps but i do feel alittle jealous at times il admit, and the depression sets in when i remember i cant do shit now. i used to be able to when i lived with my parents but it was even a struggle there because my dad was a hoarder and the garage was always filled with bullshit and i barely had a space in there. im praying things will work out for me one day and i can aquire a nice cozy home with a nice garage so i can unleash on all the projects ive been dying to get into myself comfortably and in a orgsnized fashion.

I’m 45 and have been into car audio since I was 15(has it been 30 years??? Oh man I’m OLD!!!). If I have to go more than a week or two without bass that will blur your vision then I start to crave it. It’s like every time I’m close to a vehicle I start thinking about bass and what I could do with that vehicle. If I have to go longer than a month then all I watch on RUclips is bass videos. Longer than that and I start pulling up amps and subs online and start to virtually build a system. I’ll even go and do the math to figure out what box would work best with different subs.
So you aren’t the only one!!!

Bass withdrawal is definitely a real thing. Bass withdrawal will have you taking a trip to pick up some milk when you’re lactose intolerant just to hear your system.

I went from 2 skar dnr 15s on a 10k to now my wife's stock door speakers in her fusion... we are about to throw one in her car next week tho and we are so excited! We don't live far from your home town! I wish we could get together for a demo! Maybe at the next sundown event. I know that's a while but I hope to meet you one day! I know what you mean. I was crunching for some $$ going through some tough times and I sold all my subs and my home amplifiers. All my car audio i had to sell as well and I haven’t had any bass In over a few months and I feel like I need to get back into some how once everything gets better.

For sure for sure I go through BASS withdrawals ever since buying my new truck. I can't do anything to it yet because I am still paying on it, but I had a 99 Buick LeSabre before the trade and in the trunk I had two 12's Sony Xplod in a custom ported box hooked up to 2,500 watt monoblock 25th Anniversary Hifonics Hurcules at 2 Ohm.
For my truck I've got six 8 inch L7T Kicker subs ready to be installed after I pay the truck off.
They will be firing forwards and I created a port in the center of the box, firing forwards as well. I cannot wait!

I feel you I'm working on getting another vehicle right now but I don't care what I drive I always throw a system in. And I almost always start on mids and highs with an amp for my mids and highs deck or DSP and then move on to the subs we love it loud definitely going to major bass withdrawals
