Nice shop space! I would suggest getting some red scotch brite discs on a bench grinder for finishing the pipe after welding. Also get some gas lenses for the torch and some proper purge plugs. Lastly get a third hand clamp setup for welding those awkward shaped pipes. You’ll be amazed at how much better the welds will be after you get in more comfortable positions
Liked your work Btw, you should use glasswool heat insulation wound up on those perforated pipes before inducing the same in the muffler, Think it should give you a befitting damp but sweet sound while you rev up this beast on the move. Just a suggestion, since I'm not that qualified to question your work but in my early years, I had accustomed a similar project which I later altered adding heat insulation into the muffler pipes and the result was quite spectacular, at least I had those heads turning while I passed the roads with that bassy output from 750 Honda.
Great fab skills mate, but you could have started the bike up to show us how it sounds, I was waiting for the sound check the whole last part of the video, awesome work none the less!
You could use teflon bar and turn/drill it into bushing. It also is kinda ˝greasy˝. I used it couple of times on slow turning axells works great! should be heat resistant up to 300 degrees celsius.
yes, exhaust bushings are a thing, unfortunately I found out about it by someone giving me some. They look like strands of stainless wire all compacted into a washer or bushing (cylindrical shape). I don't know where they got it. They are not around for me to ask where
use pu delrin doesnt absorb vibrations it might develop cracks on the long run also cannot absorb expanion and it can cause leak and stress to the bolts of the manifold
Also for the exhaust hanger bushing, you might want to use something softer than Delrin which has a durometer of ~83D. Using a urethane with ~70-80A durometer should allow for more movement/vibration dampening, making it less likely for any of your welds to crack. May not be necessary for an exhaust system this short/light though.
Babe wake up, Benji v posted!!!
Looks like a proper cafe racer!
The skill! Getting the pipes to mach the angle of the frame was so worth imo, looks mega!
That’s class. Beautiful work.
Very nice! I've never been a fan of the GS750 as a base for a cafe racer project, but you've made it look great.
New Video. Love it. Bike still looks awsome
Good to see out project back online 😊😊😊

Duuuuuuuude!!! This is Beautiful. I want one 😂
Looking amazing!!
Really really nice mate. I Like the way the pipes wrap around the engine underneath. Top job.
Congratulations For Baby Brother. I Was Waiting For This Project I And I Love How You Explain Every Thing And I Love To Watch Your Video 🤛👍👍👍
Looks great! Cant wait to hear it
WELCOME BACK!!!!!
Just a comment to promote your video in the recommendations. I looked at it in one breath. From Russia with love.😊
Bro I need to hear the exhaust though!
Looks sick!!🔥 Well done !
clean work sir
broo, welcome back, I've been waiting for this
i love the part where he shows up the sound it makes
... all 24 minutes of it
If it helps I noticed the front headers - didn't like them until you made the change - MUCH better. Awesome work!
Wow!
Nicely done benji,,congrats on the nipper and have a great christmas

Happy Christmas Eve 💕

Sweet bike man! I wish we could modify bikes like that in Spain without having to pay to the government for each modification to be street legal!

Nice work! Kinda hoped for sound check... :D
how can you do an exhaust video without a startup
someone needs to make boom tubes for a bike. not only would it sound awesome, but it would look badass too
use pu delrin doesnt absorb vibrations it might develop cracks on the long run also cannot absorb expanion and it can cause leak and stress to the bolts of the manifold
Its would be so nice if u make a small cover extend after that rear seat. Its look too 'short'
What's the purpose of tuning a bike
wouldve liked to hear it
Where did you get the 2 to 1 conversions? I’m working on a custom project and wanted to figure it out!

This is great work. Have you thought about adding steps to headers that you may make in the future for a different sound?

thank you, I will definitely look into using that. steps would also be fun to try sometime
all that work for that engine ?
Well done! Do you have a link for the exhaust parts you used? I’m currently building a ‘79 GS1000.
muffler pieces were from here www.coneeng.com
i got the tubing from a local supplier for food grade stainless steel
@ thanks man!
Tu as fabriqué l'acier toi même ?
Guess you could say... it's been a pretty EXHAUSTING work, eh?
p.s. haven't even watched the video yet, just wanted to drop this comment first
where did u get the exhaust pipeeeee
i got it from a local vender that sells stainless it to factories etc. but try these guys www.coneeng.com
thanks i like building custom exhaust but seems hard for me to find things to buy or make around my area
Should have started it up, even if the carbs are not perfect
Não demorou 1 ano, mas é pra gerar conteúdo e fazer você assistir o vídeo 😂
Great set of pipes, but please, wear safety glasses, with all that cutting, grinding and blowing going on, you're asking for trouble
Nice, 😂😂😂 so 4 make a full bike ??? 10years.
I honestly thought this project bike got bricked
et le son ?
Clean the exhaust with degrease before starting the engine or you will get finger prints burned in to the pipe surface

22:19 - I just lifted my left Butt cheek up and let one rip .... that’s how it sounds 💩
Donc euh c est euh super euh😂
Just a simple design of exhaust why tf is took a year to make it 🤦
