    Brilliant! Loved the debate. I think you guys are the only people on t'interweb that I would happily sit down with for 45 mins. Great news, great debate, interesting from start to finish.

    I love that it is call intro and banter!

    Agreed on the Clip Champ/Stream point. Especially as Stream 2.0 is becoming increasingly integrated with everything in M365. When I first heard of the Clip Champ acquisition I’d assumed it would be consumed by Stream. Seems weird that this new functionality will sit separate.

    If you follow the Stream Office Connection hours, you'll learn that ClipChamp is coming to Business/Enterprise M365 next year :)

    Regarding the design and photoshop discussion. Have you tried Affinity Photo/Designer/ Publisher? Awesome alternatives that costs a fraction. And no subscription!

      I haven't! I'll definitely take a look. Thanks for the tip

    I don't know why they wouldn't rebrand clip champ to "Stream Studio" or something like that.

      Ooo, love the name idea. I'll be interested to see if that's the long-term vision, given that the acquisition is so young

    Right with you Matt on metaverse. Headsets need to be smaller, less weighty. Also battery life needs to improve. New device has a 2 hour battery life.
    It's about virtual spaces where you can do things you cannot in the real world. It is a long way off though, bit you can do the screens thing now, but as you said you are limited by the head set. John Moore did a video on it a while back.
    Have a look at the end of the meta. Connect event where they show what they are working on for avatars. That's where it get creepy as it gets close to really being you. Facially and expression wise. They do a complete body scan to get there. Also they are working on the audio to make it more spacial. Getting it closer to the experience of you being there in person.
    I just think it is all too soon.

    Microsoft teams using excel - I can't figure out how to put dropdown or conditional formating to highlight a row. Does anyone knows how to do it?

      Open the file in the desktop app.

    Thanks you again. Great show.
    If you remember I asked about Kaizala some time ago. Now MS has begun terminating that. No new users are allowed and even if you are existing user and you need to replace your phone, you can't get in anymore. App will be totally terminated 31.8.23.
    This sudden (although expected) termination causes quite a big hassle (and costs) in our company😞

      Oh yeah, I saw that recently! Kind of surprised, tbh. The success in India and potential uses in places of poor cell service seemed a great opportunity for organizations that deal with that.

    do you know if it’s become easier for a MAC user to sign onto a TEAMS meeting and present, I did a test run with my speaker, at first she was able to get her PP to show in presenter mode, then she hit escape and couldn’t get her slides on the left to be hidden/presenter mode…..she left the meeting and came back to see if starting over would enable presenter mode
    Do MAC users have the same access and compatibility as every non MAC user?
    thanks

      I primarily use a Mac and have no issues with joining internal or external Teams meetings and presenting slides, windows, etc. Might be an issue with their device (or them?).

      @@jumpto365 i thought about it later, it’s a rule within our company, which seems odd right? i figured out a work around, i loaded the pp and the speaker took control, 😂 it worked! thanks for the reply, love your videos.

    Another great show. Does "generally available" mean that it will be available in gcc?

    • @jumpto365
      @jumpto365  Год назад

      Unfortunately not. GCC/GCC High/GCC DoD have their own release setup.

    • @sbglr
      @sbglr Год назад

      Building on that, we do try to call out when things hit GCC/High/DoD specifically where the information is available. Both Matt and I have a deep appreciation for how frustrating that black box can be
