- This video will show you all the locations for bolts and screws within the vehicle. NOT everything is necessarily needing to be removed however we wanted to make sure you are able to clearly see what we are referring to. By no means will you need to remove the dash or wheel tub however if your wanting to go the extra mile and reseal the firewall blower motor box or perhaps change a dash pad that would be the time to do it.
Use this as a guide on what parts need to come out and make a plan of attach to replace yours! Removing the ash tray, lower AC ducts and glove box compartment will allow you to sneak everything out if your careful.
You don't need to remove the A/C evaporator case. Just remove the speed nuts and the heater box will come out while the A/C case stays more or less in place on the firewall.
How do you close the blend door my 79 coupe is blowing heat into the car!
Hi I have a 1977 Monte Carlo Landau
My AC is working but it’s only blowing out of the bottom at heater vents. I have two vacuum lines from the AC manifold that go out into the engine compartment but I only know where one goes which is to the bubble the other I cannot find. Do you have any tips or tricks for this issue?
Thank you for all the knowledge you put out!!
I greatly appreciate this video!
I remember doing this on my Caprice coupe...Didn't really know what I was doing, just kept ripping stuff apart until I could get the core out...Yeah, I removed the dashpad, but never removed that AC box in the engine bay...Oh well.
many ways to do it, you can actually access the screw you need to remove under the AC box if you pop out one of the relays. If you drop it your taking it off or going fishing though haha!
The hard way😂
Good effort

Great video,
Can you tell me how you prepared your floorboard prior to putting in your dynamite?
I have residue from the old carpet still on the floor, just wondering if you used any type of chemical cleaner to make the job easy to clean.
Thank you for any tips.
beautiful i love you
