When creating a superhuman weapon they did literally everything wrong never make something that you cannot kill or control you and when you are raising it you need to make sure that it grows into something favorable and not a sociopath.

There is a piano in the backround of the artwork. Maybe he can play. Oh, and another fact: in the tv show you can see that he has mirrors above his bed.
The comic version is much eviler but not in a good way, just in a *”look here is gore and shock”* kind of evil. At least with Homelander in the show you get a sense he is human in a way.
I don’t think he’s a bad person or a monster he’s just a chilled with a lot of past trauma, and you can see in diabolical in his early stages of being a super hero he makes mistakes but they get covered up and he doesn’t learn, making him think that he can do whatever he wants. Like a 3 year old given powers and expected to make good decisions with them
