- Today we did a little antique booth refresh and I was able to bring in all of the smalls that I have been working to get priced. We were kinda in a time crunch to get that done because we needed to pick up my auction wins from the day before. Day 9 of a Vintage Vlogmas '21 is in the books!

The corner is a good spot for antique dress forms or coat racks. Also would look nice with an octagonal table or round ottoman .Any round display case , chair piled w/suitcases, or round stacked hatboxes would do nicely!!! Ha! Can you tell I am not only a retired Realtor but also had a brick & mortar antique & home decor store . Love your channel and look forward to everything you post. Your decorating skills are only surpassed by your "eye" for the finds to fill your space. You might consider a career in home staging as your ability to know where things should be placed is god-given. Best wishes for a wonderful profitable & happy Christmas!!!

For the corner a box or riser, then a a tall wicker basket and (I thought you had tall plumes) coming out of it???? Hang your new bohemian hanging light in that corner and it will reflect in the mirrors - my 2 cents. lol. I really love the vlogmas content you've put out Amanda. 🤗

Maybe you could start by putting a lamp in that corner; maybe a floor lamp to draw the eye? They would make a nice light in your lovely mirrors.
Every time you refresh your booth it looks more amazing than the last time I thought it looked amazing. HOW?? lol
I love that sweater! Ideas for your corner: coat/hat tree, small side tables you can stack, corner shelf (they're usually about 4 ft tall so it would come up to the bottom of your mirrors) to display some pottery pieces or such, side table with dramatic container of some sort and your pompas grass.
As a new antique mall seller, I'm really enjoying your posts. Thanks for recording... I'm sure between that and editing, things take so much longer. We appreciate it! If you're missing lunch consistently, just keep a light beer in your glovebox. It'll get you through and can be super motivating:)

I just found you on You tube and LOVE your style. I love that you don't change the look of the vintage items with black or white paint like a lot of others. For the bare corner maybe try a tall plant, a coat/hall tree with lots of hats or for the season a Christmas/evergreen tree. Keep up the great work!

Amanda! Buy an old country place on a road to somewhere with a big old barn on the road. Then you can run the entire storing, preparation, selling operation from one location with way less overheads. Just a thought. I know a lady who does this here in Australia - sells her weekly finds immediately -mainly on Instagram with people scouring her 'barn' during open hours as well. Works perfectly.

You have a Cherokee basket in your booth. It’s the tan basket in your black shelves. I have several Cherokee baskets and yours looks very similar.. Cherokee baskets are double walled woven.. Hope you have great success with your business!

That's what I was going to say,the corner is begging for a tall fiddle leaf fig plant,and a few other house plants scattered around.

You have a great inner eye to imagine how you want your booth to look like and it comes out fantastic. A half round clothes rack would look good there or an old umbrella stand with vintage walking sticks and things like that. Maybe tall vase . What ever you figure out for there I'm sure it will look great!! 🙂
You are amazing-keep it up! I see that others have commented on your “corner filler” with similar ideas I have such as vintage stacked luggage, vintage floor lamp or side table with mid century chair, small dry bar with accessories, vintage papasan chair, vintage stacked wicker baskets-endless!!! We all know whatever you decide will be perfect!

RE: that corner that you never know what to do with......
Put a large club or other kind of large arm chair there. Possibly with a lamp that hangs down over it.
Could you do a privacy screen (accordion style) in that corner and drape linens or scarves over the top. Maybe pin some hats or bags? I'm new here, I love your content! :)

I know this is an old video, but you could put a leg on the back corner for your clothing rack to help hold it up.
Hi Amanda, I know different area's have different prices, but I also have a booth in CA, and I'm always curious about what people sell their items for. I know you want to keep it private, but I don't need to know how much you paid, I just want to know what it sells for, because your items are so unique and interesting (which is what I'm aiming for in my booth, by being more intentional with what I buy)...if you don't mind.
LOVE the vlogmas btw...my daughter loved the sweater!
She sells her items for between 999 billion and 999 trillion dollars each, net.
You might have talked about this but do you go to the physical auctions or are you buying from online auctions?
