A new place called Hollywood Burgers & Shakes opened up in Withington last year, just one street down from the Shakedown. Interesting menu and super satisfying burgers, highly recommend the Lawrence of Arabia and the Raging Bull!

Manchester miss it big time was there as student at uni in 1992, they were ahead of the game with grub compared to Birmingham then, camel one was the go to place then, not anymore I am afraid, but definitely plenty evolution of food in Manchester and Birmingham with international influences around the world having an input in and fusion now 👌👌

Salam bruv, If you ever back in Birmingham, try a place called "food Republic" on Broad Street, trust me even the fries are excellent, large portion burgers and the pizzas are very tasty and they don't skimp on toppings 👌 heyman galore

@@HEYMANFOODREVIEWS i absolutely understand where you coming from, only reason I suggesting it is because I have noticed how the takeaway scene has exploded in the last couple of years and you have so much more variety than I ever thought possible from high end food to your basic kebabs and everything else in between. Might be Worth doing some research and see if it's worth your time.

The donner at 3 brothers is actually overrated considering the price and quality. Bro i get it, It tastes nice with the sauce and that's what makes it but i cant justify paying 3x the donner price just for some sauce to be added on. I would 100% agree if the donner was homemade but the worst thing is its standard wholesale donner which 99% of takeaways use. flavour is masked by the quality imo.
Well it’s not 3x the price of a normal doner and it’s cooked with their home spices and veggies so it’s a completely different dish but I understand your point.
It’s not for everyone but I like it

Bro I have a question, you went to three brothers and tried their naga smash burger before, but have you had their classic smash without the Naga sauce? Because I can promise you, I can categorically swear on my food knowledge, the three brothers classic smash (without the naga) blows shakedown out of the park. It’s in its own league. The naga kills the flavour of the burger, so I’d love to see you try that and then come back to me and say, bro, you were right 😂😂😂. Don’t make your brother try it, he won’t be able to sleep for weeks after realising how good it is lol
Ali has tried pretty much most of the menu, check out the video. He prefers the naga because it has that nice kick to it
I love the naga smash and the classic smash, the naga smash is just a personal preference 😀

In simple term, this place is like your local uncle mehboob or uncle safdar dixy chicken
This place is so overrated and pricey you basically paying premium price for a standard £3.50 burger meal
This is not heymen. this is 'hey would you like 3.50 burger meal'.
Damm i feel ripped off by this. He need to get his tasted buds checked
