      Casper Nyovest should have avoided sounding like he is the best rapper in Africa.

    Just so we're clear, Cassper did not claim to be the Drake of South Africa nor did he intentionally compare himself to Drake. What he asked was: who is the biggest rapper in the US, to which Charlemagne responded; Drake, Cassper then followed by saying: I am that in South Africa, the first name which comes to mind (paraphrasing). What he meant was when asked who is the biggest rapper in SA he is the first name that comes to mind.
    Y'all just be trying to start some sh*t.

    NB: most artists in africa are big in their respective countries and regions.
    I feel you are big in Africa if you can sell out a big venue anywhere on the continent.
    I know the legendary SA artists did that while Wizkid, Davido, Psquare are selling out football stadia across the continent. Those are the people i'll say are big on the continent and not just in their countries.

      African Renaissance It's not tearing down. There had always been rivalry between African nations. It starts in jest, some people take it too far, but don't get it twisted we all good. No one be tripping when a RedSox and a Yankee fan exchange insults because they understand. From any good competition/rivalry comes greatness. Africans we get this. It's all good here.

    Cassper Nyovest is HUGE in South Africa! He does some dope music. And he said it correct. Afrobeats is a movement coming out of Nigeria. He does Hip-Hop and in South Africa, House Music and Kwaito runs things. Clearly, Afrobeats is in the mix down there, but there are nowhere as many South African Afrobeats artists as there are in Nigeria. But SA does have some dope artists. It's crazy how they have even Essence Fest going down there and AfroPunk and still not understanding how dope the music is across the continent. Ghana got joints. Kenya, Mail, DRC, everywhere.

      @thandisilec835 5 лет назад +2

      P. Fauntleroy sorry afrobeat is not big in SA. Only reason SA knows if it and Nigerian artists come to SA is because many Nigerians living in SA which the Nigerian artists come to errors for in smaller venues like clubs. House, Kwaito, Gqom, Maskandi, hip hop is what counts in SA. And a genre of music called sokie sokie lives by Afrikaans white community. That is why Cassper can fill up the biggest stadium on the continent...FNB soccer stadium which holds about 95 000 ppl. That how big SA hip hop is in SA. #Facts

    No need to insult each other though because of geographical locations, boarders were made by Europeans not Africans, Africa would be the greatest country on Earth if they didn't exist, its funny how we have accepted white supremacist Ideologies and used them against ourselves . Regardless of which part of Africa he comes from we should all be proud and we should support him.

      Can you think of this. Dont only think Africa was the only place were countries were tooken rule of. Even in European countries, big countries would annex other European regions so this wasnt only an African thing
      And Africans themselves liked to place out land or their restrictions. Example Shaka Zulu had his own land so that was his kingdom. And then they were other kingdoms. Its a confusing concept to explain but Africa as one country would be a mess
      And now take in mind how corrupt African presidents are so imagine how big of a problem it would be if there was a corrupt president controlling billions of people and millions of land
