The paper is called transfer paper and can be purchased from any crafts store, target, Walmart, etc. If you want to use a white shirt or any white or lighter color fabric get transfer sheets for light fabric or vice versa for darker fabrics. As far as ink goes, you can use any printer ink but the better the quality, the better the image. Iron the transfer sheet on for at least 3 minutes before pulling up. No the image will not fade in the washer it is permanent. Do not use wax paper. Lastly, it is not illegal to make these for your own usage but it is illegal to sell because of copy right reasons.
Carly Wash it's only illegal to sell name brand names such as adidas or Nike. But if you put something like "lol ur cute" and sold it, your not going to get sued.
Lol no. it's not just brand names. it's a variety of things. Art/Fan Art/Disney/Marvel/certain phrases and slogans and brand names/font types are trademarked/copyrighted.
The image does not crack when you set your image again after you finished ironing. Just place baking paper over the print and iron until for a couple more seconds. The transfer will sink in to the shirt and it'll last longer
THIS IS SO SMART OK LIKE TRANSFER PAPER IS LIKD NOT EXPENSIVE AND I GOTTA PRINTER AND IRON AND I CAN JUST USE THE PAPER INSTEAD OF $100 ON THE SHIRT THANKS FOR THIS
nice video ! Michaels also sell transfer paper for stretchy fabrics. idk if that prevents cracks on tight shirts but maybe give it a try for next time.
Such a great video. Thank you. Love the pink Adidas one! I've been on a huge Adidas and Under Armour kick this summer. I bought a Silhouette (2 years ago; still unused) that cuts out images like a cri-cut machine. What kind of paper did you use for these transfers and software program? I want to do this, I'm just a bit DIY challenged. Luckily my hubby figures 99% of everything out when I'm having trouble. ;)
Can i use any printer and ink type to print on my transfer paper? After printing my picture will i have to transfer the picture to fabric/tshirt right away or can i let it sit and use it when i need to?
After a while the design will start cracking and become faded. I say just take good care of it and maybe hand-wash the fabric but try to not get the design wet
I saw some transfer paper at Office Depot...by Avery that said it was flexible....on the package.. So, that may be better since it's supposed to stretch some...
I saw on some other videos that around the black ink where the white paper was' cut away that it left a dry glue look around the ink... was that the case for you on those white tops? I am guessing on a black shirt it would be more noticeable. also how long does it last for with machine washing etc? like a store brought top?..
How do you get the writing to come out write? my daughter is trying to do one for a school project and the letter keep coming backwards once the paper is place on the shirt.
It starts cracking after a few months of wearing and washing it. A tip is to use cold water and handwash it but try to not get the design wet. You can get it wet but to keep it in pristine condition, try not to wash it too much
Make sure that you type png when searching for your images because you'll get a transparent background rather than a white one. Mostly because the white background will make your logos look weird . Best of luck 😝😜😋
Where can i find like transfer paper with text ? Or how can i make my own . to make a shirt with my own logo ? Is it a printed out design with transfer paper ??
so basically we can use any printer, print the words backwards straight on transfer paper, iron the paper down on the shirt and peel off? how long does it need to be ironed?
I have this question that’s been bothering me for some time, Do I need permission from the creator to heat press their logo? For example, a custom Nike logo for a personal T-shirt gift? 😅
Did you reverse the image before printing it, or did you reverse it after printing onto the shirt? Trying this too and would like some advice thanks : )
Thanks to the comment section lots of helpful tips this video is helpful for your first time but I've already done tshirts already I was more interested in the dos and don't she had but all these came out good but I made my own kpop shirts because it's hell trying to find ones I like I just wish she'd do her own design but I also get why she did all these shirts are expensive in the store
just want to know how did you print off with that transfer paper? i don't think transfer paper isn't the same as normal paper so which side needs placing for image to print out? can you show us how did you do?
it depends on what transfer paper she has, maybe it you try it too your not so sure if the company she used is in your local stores unless you order it but some transfer paper are similar
I really enjoyed the video and wanted to do as t-shirts, but I do not speak English so I did not quite understand. Could someone tell me which sheet the girl used? What if it was printed? It leaves with water Thank you Note: I'm using google translator.
Gabriely Ribeiro Ezequiel El papel de transferencia no sacar con agua? I think that's how you word it idk? I'm sorry lol, but the paper won't come off with water
Alba Tarquino I'm positive you don't any special ink (I didn't) and I think you put the transfer paper in (to print the image off onto it) hope this helps x

thank you this was of great use for me!

Tip: If you want to make these shirts on fitted tight clothes, just stretch the clothes out as best as you can while you iron it.
Kandidly Kristen ok thanks
Kandidly Kristen m
What kind of ink to use?
You can stretch the shirt out while ironing it to avoid the cracks, like put a board inside of the t shirt
The image does not crack when you set your image again after you finished ironing. Just place baking paper over the print and iron until for a couple more seconds. The transfer will sink in to the shirt and it'll last longer
*only works with transfer paper that is meant for light coloured fabrics
silicone paper and baking silicone paper is the same ??
THIS IS SO SMART OK LIKE TRANSFER PAPER IS LIKD NOT EXPENSIVE AND I GOTTA PRINTER AND IRON AND I CAN JUST USE THE PAPER INSTEAD OF $100 ON THE SHIRT THANKS FOR THIS
Sophie Adelia how much is transfer paper
Probably about 5 dollars a pack
Transfer paper packs are 20$ for 10 sheets for dark shirts and a lil cheaper for light color shirts
What kind of printer do you use can I use anyone?
I read a tip that if these crack you just need to get some wax/parchment paper and iron over it again.
I'll have to try it! Thanks!
Tia McIntosh does it have to be on transfer paper
Tia McIntosh please help me because when i try this, she didn't, i don't why

Then, if i cut a square of this paper and I iron over it on a black shirt ..will i have a white square or just a shiny square?
This is the smartest thing I've ever seen.
Can i use any printer and ink type to print on my transfer paper? After printing my picture will i have to transfer the picture to fabric/tshirt right away or can i let it sit and use it when i need to?
Nice job! I love the light peachy peach change to the logo!
How do they hold up after being washed and dried?
4lex 4lex wash cold and not on a delicate wash also for the design to last longer
After a while the design will start cracking and become faded. I say just take good care of it and maybe hand-wash the fabric but try to not get the design wet

it doesn't wear off!
It starts cracking after a few months of wearing and washing it. A tip is to use cold water and handwash it but try to not get the design wet. You can get it wet but to keep it in pristine condition, try not to wash it too much
wash inside out on delicate..& gently stretch the shirt right after pressing the shirt
What did you use on printing that picture? Did you use transfer paper instead of bond paper?
Make sure that you type png when searching for your images because you'll get a transparent background rather than a white one. Mostly because the white background will make your logos look weird . Best of luck 😝😜😋
Good tip :)
And if you use a picture with a background you will most likely waste ink because your going to cut the background after

If you are using a different colored shirt will the white transfer paper show the white in the paper?!
It is clear! But it will just be shiny
+Tia McIntosh but some people said it will show
It depends on the paper, some will show, some are just shiny, you have to read and see which one it is
and if the ink is on the shirt, and I put the shirt in the wash.would the ink come off?😕
do you just print it on transfer paper?

Chaotic Beast it has to be a inkjet printer

Victoria XoXo Photoshop
just want to know how did you print off with that transfer paper? i don't think transfer paper isn't the same as normal paper so which side needs placing for image to print out? can you show us how did you do?
it depends on what transfer paper she has, maybe it you try it too your not so sure if the company she used is in your local stores unless you order it but some transfer paper are similar
