Great video! Very clear and to the point 😁 I was shopping on Etsy for patterns and was shocked by the amount of AI generated images, it was so disappointing to see

Yeah, it's really sad because a lot of them are stolen sewing patterns from other creators. 😔

Thank you!!! I’ve been feeling off about Etsy patterns recently. After I brought two bad patterns last year. I feel validated and will use your advice to better navigate the website!

You are so welcome! Etsy can be great in so many ways (I LOVE having my patterns there)... it's just kind of a weird time on there right now! So, I'm happy to hear this was helpful to you.

I don't even see that many AI images but I spot them every time. I do think some Etsy shops may actually be mass produced patterns. Basically a very resourceful person maybe hiring and out sourcing everything. Like those images you showed, I don't remember the name of the shop but the images don't seem to be AI generated. But the fact that they have many different models and backgrounds makes me think that they just out source everything and hire models for a photo shoot.

It’s SO FRUSTRATING seeing Etsy turn into another platform that exacerbates this AI/stolen product/drop shipping issue that’s so prevalent online. It’s ironic and sad, because Etsy was created to support individuals and small businesses. I wish people would get smarter about stuff like this. There’s so many warning signs!
For me, it’s always the price. If the pattern is under $5, there’s no way a real person put any time into it
